This exquisite Villa has it all! Located in The Villas at Poipu Kai boutique development. With 1900 s.f. living area, this three bedroom three bath view unit features an expansive covered lanai, private elevator access, central air, central vacuum, washer/dryer, and elegant 'Tommy Bahama' furnishings throughout. The sixteen foot glass wall folds back, joining the great room with the lanai to expand the living area to about 1900 square feet. Perfect for indoor-outdoor living to make the most of your Kauai experience. Additional amenities include the pool and spa, clubhouse access, and fitness center. As an added benefit, you have access to the Poipu Kai Resort tennis facilities just across the greenbelt. A short walk along the greenbelt path takes you to the Poipu beaches, park and shopping. Very nice residence in a convenient location

Plenty of private space for 5 adults with a separate bathroom (2 full suites) for each bedroom. Living room accordion glass door opens to a beautiful 2nd floor Lanai with a beautiful view. Short walk to the beach and restaurants and access to a beautiful relaxing pool. Owners are a pleasure to communicate with before, during, and after the stay.

Best Birthday Trip Ever

Absolutely loved this property! Room for all 5 of us adults. Easy access to Poipu beach. Close to Koloa town. Fully stocked unit and comfy furniture. Everything in home works such a terrific view! We will be back again for sure!

Very Convenient

Being in our late 70's we appreciated having an elevator and having just a short walk to the pool or parking. Poipu beach was just a 2 minute drive and everything else we wanted was within a 10 minute drive: shopping, restaurants, grocery store, etc. The condo itself is a 10 out of 10.

First Kauai Family Vacation

Walt & Judy (& Derek & Annmarie)...thank you! Your condo is beautiful & roomy & a wonderful location. It was our first time staying in the Poipu area and we liked it. Two good restaurants within walking distance plus beaches about 5min walk away. Poipu is a great base location for going either north or south. Our favorite was the covered balcony....started our mornings with coffee out there after our walks. Mahalo

Multi-generation Aloha

Idyllic stay

The villa is spacious and well appointed, perfect for a family. Location is great, close to the tennis/pickle courts, and a pleasant 10 minutes walk to the beach. Owners very responsive. Highly recommend.

Beautiful unit in a great location

The unit was exactly as described and was pristine, with a well-stocked kitchen. The location was perfect--literally five minute walk to Brennecke's Beach and just a few minutes more to Poipu Beach. We had an unforgettable stay.

Wonderful place

The Condo is in excellent condition. We enjoyed taking walks to the beach and seeing the turtles and seals. The pool is beautiful and a few steps away. Everything went as planned and we enjoyed the stay! Thank you Walt and Joy!

Elegant and expansive

Was such a luxury to have 3 full suites (bed/bath) for us and our 2 adult kids. Entire living room accordion doors open to huge lanai with big comfortable chairs (no ocean view from lanai but beautiful trees and red-headed birds). Everything was clean and bright and new. Didn't have time to use pool, but it's right there, and would be so perfect for younger kids. Short walk to beach where sea turtles congregated every afternoon. Easy parking.

Awesome Stay!

Great property for a family stay with 3 large bedrooms, amazing balcony with garden view, air conditioning, and walking distance to the beach. They even supplied a cute wagon with all the beach items we needed. Green turtles coming in each evening (30+ one night) was a highlight, as well as excellent snorkeling- all nearby! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Lovely home at a wonderful location

This home is stunning and beautifully furnished. It is a quick walk to Poipu Beach (10 minutes max maybe??) where we watched the turtles come in at dawn for a rest and then back out at sunset which was phenomenal! The grounds were beautiful and the pool so refreshing. The three king bedrooms/3 baths worked perfectly for three couples to share. We highly recommend this one. The only suggestion I have is to let renters know that there is a recycling option. Unfortunately we didn’t realize it until we took out trash on day 3 and saw the recycling bins.

Kauai Family Vacation

Property was well kept and walking distance to the beach. Beds were comfortable. It was nice to have three full bathrooms. The beach towels were small and thin and the bathroom towels need to be upgraded along with the bath mats. The toilet paper in the master was cheap one-ply. The wagon to haul stuff to the beach was a nice convenience. The refrigerator didn’t seem to get or stay super cold. Overall it was a positive experience.

Luxury Villa

I recently stayed at Walt and Joy's lovely villa with my husband, two sisters and their husbands. We each had our own bedroom with a king size bed (one bedroom had two twin beds configured as a king size bed) and we each had our own bathroom. The villa is located in a beautiful development. Parking was easy and there is an elevator to get your luggage up to the second floor (this is a second floor villa). The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possible need. The beds were all comfortable, the towels were soft, and the living spaces were spacious. It's an easy walk to the beach and the pool is lovely. I would highly recommend this villa when staying in Poipu!

Villas of Poipu Kai

We stayed 21 days this time. We stayed in same condo 8 years ago and this time we actually met the owner. Walt is very responsive and also timely. There have been a few changes to condo in 8 years and all for the better. Our favorite place to be is on the lanai to watch the sunset. Enjoyed the hot tub and son in law took advantage of the gym several times. Easy walk to beach and Brennecke’s and Puka Dog. Also walked to Grand Hyatt several times. We would definitely rent from Walt and Joy the next time we plan a trip to Kauai.

Simply amazing!

We just returned from a stay at Walt and Joy's place, we were not let down at all. The condo and grounds were immaculate. The location was perfect, a 4 minute walk to two beaches (and the wagon was a lifesaver!). The bed and pillows in the master were so comfortable I slept better than I do at home. Everything was clean, comfortable and well stocked. My favorite part was sitting out on the covered lanai and enjoying the ocean breeze and sunrise. We couldn't have picked a better location and property. I enjoyed the walking paths for early morning walks and restaurants were a short car ride away (a few walkable). I had groceries delivered the day we arrived from Safeway, it made things so easy! Walt was extremely fast in responding to any question we had. Thanks for opening your home to us, we loved it!

Great condo!

The owners were great to work with! Very accommodating and allowed us early check in after our flight. Pool was easy and wonderful as was the pretty walk to the beach. Condo was spacious and had everything we needed. We had 2 adults in the master and 2 sets of teens in each bedroom. In full disclosure - the third bedroom is quite a downgrade from the first and second bedrooms - nothing wrong with it - but if has the hallway bathroom, smaller, no walk in closet. The bigger 2 bedrooms are heavenly and the bathrooms are amazing. So again, nothing wrong with the third but just a consideration for parents. The kitchen was beautiful, the lanai is so perfect, AC worked well, door code so no worries about keys. Give it a perfect rating and highly recommend.

Beautiful

Repairs need to be done. Tighten kitchen sink faucet. 2 bathroom you should not have to hold handle to flush toilet. 2 bedroom the dimmer switch was broken. The floor was not clean. I do not no how long it had been since someone cleaned under bed in master bedroom. The cabinet that the trash was in was very loose so my husband tightened that so it did not break. It was a wonderful time with family. I did think three bedrooms that each room had its own bathroom and one did not. Overall great time was had by all. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home. Of course you know about the bathroom that broke in 3rd bathroom.
