"Many great things about this property. Prime location, attentive staff, enjoyable pools and water features to name a few. The building doesn’t have a new feel and we were frustrated by the lack of elevators. Our room had a great view of the pools and the ocean but because of the elevator placement we had to walk over a third of a mile to get to our car in the self park lot. It’s one of the poorest design I have seen. "

"Extremely friendly and responsive staff. Well maintained rooms, pools and grounds. Food, drink and marketplace offer delicious and thoughtful options. Fantastic location for all you’d want to do in Kauai, but you could also stay and never need to leave the property. The design of property, especially pool areas, were a safe place for our kids to play and roam. Staying at Koloa Landing Resort is one of the best family vacation experiences we’ve had. We look forward to returning and sharing our positive experience with others."

"Great location. beach is on the property! A bit of a walk to exchange beach towels. appreciated the used of the athletic club across the street. very nice to have 2 chairs, umbrella, cooler, and snorkel gear all in closet to use. Thanks! It is a bit of an older unit. probably needs a deep clean at some point, especially in the bathroom (behind door and window area). loved the large lanai. Code door lock was great. a little smaller than anticipated. only able to fit 1 person in kitchen at a time. bedroom "door" wasn't quite a door, but did offer more privacy than a studio. TV was super confusing to use-even with the posted 2 page instruction sheets. overall we had a great stay. "

"Kauai is beautiful, and we enjoyed wonderful family-time despite leaks in multiple rooms and no heat in the spa. The property mgr was contacted immediately about the spa, photos/videos sent of the rain leaking thru lanai door into the master bedroom-flooding the floor. Living room lanai door and a sealed window were also leaking, and water was dripping thru master bath ceiling. The property mgr said he would "see if he could get someone." The next day, he said put towels down, and he'd send someone. He delivered extra towels and texted "the known leak was fixed 6 months ago, but has been trying to talk the owners into replacing the old, known leaking roof for two years now". He said the roofer may not make it due to the rain-which was mostly during the night, as we had very sunny days on the beach (with dated photos). At 1 am on day 6, we were woken by the crashing down of the drywall ceiling in the master bath with gallons of smelly, moldy, nasty attic water onto the countertop, where makeup, jewelry, toiletries, fragrances, etc were all completely ruined. We again called the property mgr, who said he'd try to get out there the next day to look. Finally, a water/mold restoration company arrived to tear out the rotted ceiling drywall and cleanup, but the smell was AWFUL, as were the loud fans that ran the remainder of the stay. Photos/videos/mold and prop mgr prove the existing problem! A very small was offered -only covers some of the personal property loss.RUN!!!!"

"Our family of 11 recently stayed @ Hawaii Haus in Poipu which was great. Good location close to shops, restaurants and the beach and some torrential weather at times did not spoil our fun! Lots of beach gear (toys, umbrellas, chairs, wagon, etc.) which made it nice for the entire family. Beautiful house, open floor plan, great A/C and the kids loved the pool."
