The Property: The property is well-located. The lobby area is inviting and attractive. The rooms: The updated rooms are a good value, but the older rooms are extremely outdated and uninviting. (I had to request that I be relocated to an updated room after checking in to an older room.) The amenities: The breakfast buffet is middle of the road, and the service is disorganized. The Sonargaon restaurant, where I hosted lunch for ten guests, was expensive but came with excellent service, food and ambience. The gym/spa is functional with some basic equipment. Overall: The place is in need of updating with fewer better-trained staff. It is a reasonable value if you are not too particular.

Property is great and has a wonderful history. The rooms are in dire need of renovation and updating. Otherwise, the staff are just brilliant and do their level best. The first impression of lobby is good, but rooms...as I've said are extremely tired and outdated.
