The staff are extremely friendly helpful and attentive. We were only there for 2 days but could see the manager had a great relationship with all the vistors. My passport was soaked from the storm i was given a bowl of rice to put my passport in which worked! I was so grateful. They also put an amazing display on the bed and provided treats and flowers for my birthday which was beautiful.

Great place to stay in Lamai. It is a bit of a walk to town (20min), but there are great places to have a meal or a drink nearby. The staff are awesome and the resort is well equipped. I had a peaceful stay and appreciated the overall quality of the resort. I was traveling solo, but could definitely say it would be a nice place to spend a romantic getaway.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left this boutique resort was wonderful. On arrival we received the warmest welcome complete with any drink of our choice and was then quickly taken to our room where every detail was explained (light switches, door locking etc). Our room on the 2nd floor was spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. Each morning a delicious breakfast was served by the pool. All staff at the Beluga take the greatest pride in the service they provide with the highest attention to detail. If we return to Lamai in the future we will stay again at the Beluga Boutique Resort.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold på et undervurderet hotel! Vi havde tre dejlige overnatninger, hvor der var styr på alt. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme med alt, bl.a. at booke færgebilletter, komme med forslag til ture osv. lidt ærgerligt med en aircondition, der kun virkede, når nøglen var på værelset, så der blev ret varmt på værelset i løbet af dagen. Det er dog det eneste, der ikke bare spillede. Alt i alt et dejligt sted!

Wir können das Hotel und das ganze Team uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Abholung am Flughafen funktionierte super, der Fahrer war sehr freundlich und der Preis fair. Angekommen im Hotel wurden wir sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön für uns hergerichtet. Mir war das Bett zu hart, bekam aber am nächsten Morgen sofort einen Topper. Das Frühstück ist klein aber fein, könnte für längere Aufenthalte aber abwechslungsreicher sein. Man darf sollte jedoch hierbei nicht vergessen, dass es ein kleineres Hotel mit 12 Zimmern ist. Da gibt es auf Grund der Größe Grenzen. Das Restaurant haben wir immer wieder besucht. Auch sehr lecker dort gegessen. Es ist ein wunderschöner kleiner dort, der mit viel Liebe von tollen Menschen gepflegt und nachts auch bewacht wird. Der Strand ist traumhaft. Die Umgebung ruhig und für wenige Bhat ist man schnell im Trubel. Ein kleines Manko sind die Gerüche aus den Leitungen, die immer wieder auftreten. Aber auch da tut das Team was es kann um diese zu reduzieren. Wir würden auf jeden Fall immer wieder gerne zurückkommen! Vielen lieben Dank an die Inhaber und ihr ganzes Team für die schöne Zeit bei euch! Passt auf euch auf und bleibt wie ihr seid!

Booked this hotel but were shocked to find no gate security, no reception, and no contact options—no email, no support, no staff present. The manager was rude, dismissive, and avoided discussing a refund, promising to follow up, then disappeared. The only positive was bottled water provided daily. The bathroom had no ventilation and smelled bad. The bedroom’s broken AC triggered migraines. Despite this, the manager was arrogant and unhelpful. We only stayed one night due to an early excursion—otherwise, we’d have left sooner. This was meant to be a special trip for my 30th birthday and engagement. We spent £235.50 more on a new hotel and taxis. An engineer confirmed the AC was faulty and said it would be fixed, but nothing changed. We had to beg for a fan just to get through the night. The manager claimed the AC worked if you put your hand right in front of it—ridiculous. He said it felt cool after walking in from 34°C heat, but you’d be sweating within 10 minutes. We had no problems at the other four hotels on our Thailand trip. This manager failed to provide a safe, professional environment. He should refund the unused nights and improve communication. Reviews show this isn’t an isolated issue. Hotels.com couldn’t resolve it after two attempts. I gave the manager a chance before writing this—his only reply was “this is our policy”. I’m now disputing the charge via my bank. Overpriced and poor value—don’t risk your holiday here.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, direkt am Meer und ruhig. Wer Erholung braucht, ist hier richtig. Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal, leckere Drinks an der Bar. Vom Zimmer aus, hatten wir eine tolle Sicht aufs Meer. Es gibt nur 14 Doppelzimmer, was sehr entspannend ist. In der Umgebung konnten wir gut zu Abend essen.

Great choice overall

Grear spot, great little boutique hotel. Well situated and snorkeling is amazing right next to the hotel's beach. Cons: The airport/port transport is NOT included. It's easy to make that mistake, we did it. We booked thinking it was included because of the way it was advertised. It's 690 baht. Which is not cheap at all. Another con, the pool needs a good scrubing. Not super clean.
