The property is well maintained and overall clean and tidy. The beach is a private section of beach, shared with a few other hotels, which is also nice however the sand is pretty rough on the the feet (nothing the Hotel can do about that). The staff are very polite and accommodating, big shout out to Max & Zidan from the beach bar/ Panali restaurant; extremely friendly and very helpful! The room, which we had was a Premium Ocean Pool Suite (room 222), was very well maintained and looked after with a beautiful view of the Ocean, albeit it there was another row of suites in front but not obstructing the view. All in all it was a very nice hotel and one that I would visit again should I return to Koh Samui.

This resort is wonderful! The food is absolutely fabulous. We were there for four nights in off-season and it was quiet and romantic. This is not a party type place-at least when we were there. The staff is so warm and friendly and always smile. They had a party by the pool with great snacks and free drinks and very comfortable atmosphere. I would come back here. There's not much around the resort in terms of shopping or anything so if you want to be in the middle of the action this is not the right place. But if you want a romantic getaway without booming Eurobeats this is it

A Luxurious Stay at Vana Belle – Truly 5-Star

Our recent stay at Vana Belle, Koh Samui, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional warmth by Chicka during check-in. She made us feel right at home, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. Initially, we stayed in an ocean view room, which was beautiful, but due to some noise from neighboring guests, the hotel graciously upgraded us to an ocean view villa. The villa was absolutely stunning—spacious, elegant, and with breathtaking views. It was the perfect sanctuary for our stay. The resort itself is top-notch. Every detail, from the furniture to the décor, reflects perfection and a commitment to luxury. However, what truly sets Vana Belle apart is its staff. Every team member we encountered was genuinely warm, kind, and attentive, making us feel pampered and cared for throughout our visit. While I typically don’t book all-inclusive options, I’m so glad we did this time. The food was incredible—each dish was a masterpiece, particularly the Thai cuisine, which was nothing short of spectacular. The balance of flavors and the authenticity of the dishes impressed us immensely. Even the drinks were crafted to perfection—thoughtfully balanced and beautifully presented. Overall, Vana Belle is the epitome of a 5-star resort. I highly recommend this hotel, luxurious but still that friendly, personal touch. Our personal host, Pum, did a terrific job, assisting us in any wish or question we had, making our stay special to us. All staff always had a sincere smile and did their outmost to make us fell welcome and honoured guests. The restaurants were first class and breakfast probably the best I ever had in a hotel. Location is perfect with a private beach, just a short ride to night markets and shopping experiences. A vast selection of restaurants are everywhere, from excellent streetfood to 5 -star restaurants. We will for sure return to this hotel.

Wonderful breakfasts. If you can, select a room with valet service. Tik was amazing and the manager most helpful. NB no elevators to higher (full ocean view) rooms. The spa was lovely for facials. The main restaurant for dinner was outstanding and we even received a note from the chef. All the staff were lovely and couldn't be any nicer to their guests. Hope to go back

We had an amazing stay at Vana Belle, the staff were super friendly and helpful and tended to our every need. The resort itself is in a great location right on the beach and the food at Panali was fantastic. Spa was also great and the gym was very well equipped too. We will definitely be coming back!

Service was 15/10. The staff was so attentive. They had a way of anticipating our needs without being intrusive. Great for couples and families. We stayed in Villa 1003, beachfront. Special thanks to Pumm our butler and On our very sweet house keeper. Incredible stay!

What an amazing place with the best most friendly staff I have come across. Just sad I only had 3 days. The rooms plunge pool is the best way to start the day. Also close enough to the bars etc.

Big disappointment

We were staying at Vana Belle as our last stay after a month of traveling in Thailand with our child (10 months old) as our only maternity leave together - so it was planned to be something very special. We chose Vana Belle as we thought it would be a great last stay and would turn up the luxury (which we in deed also paid for). Unfortunately, it turned out is was the worst hotel stay of the whole month of traveling (where we stayed at 3, 4 and 5 star hotels). Firstly, it is not at all baby “friendly” as the rooms (we stayed in a jungle pool suite) are very far from the beach and other facilities. A lot of stairs leads to the different facilities, which is not at all suited for children or strollers - and are not convenient for adults either. Secondly, the hotel itself appears old and “messy” with a “brown and purple” theme and it is a massive concrete building. Not charming at all, and the pictures on the webpage, hotels etc. have been very much retouched. The room we had (jungle pool suite) has nothing to do with a “jungle” as you look out on a road with only a small strip of threes, hearing cars (buggies) driving outside very often and noise from people running to/from the breakfast. Thirdly, the pool area and the pool bar have seen better days and could very much need a brush up. The lower apartments further has a very “parking basement”-like entree (see picture). All in all very very disappointing and not at all what we expected!
