It was a wonderful home and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We were right across the street from the beach, with easy access and absolutely beautiful views. We loved our time there and will definitely rebook if we return to Kitty Hawk!

Fantastic property! The kitchen was well stocked and all beach items needed were provided. The view was great and beach access was easy. We really appreciated the organization and thought given to little details like games and puzzles. Hope to stay here again!

Great stay

Great stay, great views, great location. All the beach toys you need. We brought a large cooler since there was no outdoor fridge and it all worked out perfectly.

Lovely, updated, functional beach house. Location is absolutely perfect!! Water views, great deck, plenty of chairs and the view is perfect!! Easy beach access and quiet area in Kitty Hawk. Kitchen fully stocked. Mattresses are wonderful!! Owner's cares dearly for the property.

Million Dollar View lives up to it's name. We enjoyed our week at this well-equipped house, with the COMFIEST couch, plenty of outdoor (and beach) furniture, and a kitchen which even had storage containers! (sometimes, it's the little things...) The 7 of us hung out comfortably indoors, ate almost every meal at the picnic table on the screened-in back porch, and back-and-forthed to the beach all day over the fairly new private staircase over the dunes just across the beach road.

KH-4 Million $ View

The Million $ View is truly a “home away from home”! The furnishings of this “cottage” are far superior to all the homes I have rented or stayed in thru the years. I do NOT have to: bring quality kitchen items, make up the beds, bring beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, etc.), bring towels, etc. This honestly makes the stay so much more enjoyable for the “house mother”. To me, a five star hotel could not be any nicer. To me, when you rent to Million $ View, you're getting the “best of best, beach cottage”!

Amazing Home

My family really enjoyed this house and the million dollar views it offered. The house was so well stocked with everything we needed to cook and we were so impressed with all the toys, books, puzzles, etc. you have available for the kids. It was also nice to have all the beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards provided. The kids ended up really enjoying the hot tub all week because the water at the beach was full of stinging nettles. The people at Shoreline OBX were also extremely friendly and wonderful to work with. We will definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

Most well equipped home we've ever rented. ALL the comforts of home included. Plan to rent the same home next year! Will save me from bringing favorite knives, cooking pans, beach chairs, etc. Love the unobstructed view of the ocean as well as the short walk there.

Great Place!

This was our first time renting this house. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. Clean. Comfortable. Very well maintained. We loved all of the covered outdoor space. Easy walk to the beach. The owners really thought of everything. Highly recommend this rental.

A lovely home

We have stayed in this house for a week every year since 2016. It is always clean and very well equipped. The owners always seem to do more updates during the off season, perfecting something that is already very nice. It really does have a "million $ view" from the porch. There are plenty of places to hang out, both inside and out, when not on the beach.

Excellent location! Walk right out your door and the beach is across the street. We loved having our own private beach access too. The house is lovely. Very tastefully decorated and super clean. We were pleasantly surprised with the fully stocked kitchen including everything we needed. Also we enjoyed the hot tub on the rainy days and the use of the beach chairs on sunny days. We even saw dolphins swim by early in the morning while we were enjoying our morning coffee. Great beach too!

This is our second year at MDV. The location is wonderful, the amenities are thoughtful. The mattresses are a problem. The beds are very uncomfortable. The hot tub was very foamy.

Beautiful house. Well stocked with everything we could have needed. Some may have found the beach replenishment a negative. We watched the ships come and go with loads of sand. Learned a lot about the process. Also the beds were a little soft for our liking. Over all would stay there again. Was a great week. Thank you

Always a great place to stay!

We started staying here in 2015, spending a week every summer. It's a nice house. Always clean and has everything one needs in the kitchen. The view from the porch is beautiful. And it's a simple walk across the street to get to the beach. There are NO houses or anything anywhere close to the house on the beach and it's definitely not crowded at all. The house comes equipped with whatever you need to sit out there: chairs, umbrella, wagon, kids stuff, paddle boards, etc… It also has a pack n play and a toddler chair for inside use. The hot tub is always clean and a nice place to relax on cooler days/evenings. And the living room contains nearly every board game imaginable.

Amazing Beach Stay

This house met or exceeded every expectation - from the first walk up the steps (breathtaking view) to the tiny, thoughtful accessories they provided. We could even make pie crust and roll it out if we wanted. The kitchen was so well stocked and organized. Toys and books were there if we had children, flashlights, chip clips, matches, hairdryer, well, just everything to make you comfortable!
