Wonderful stay

The house is fantastic! Stocked kitchen, beds are comfy, easy to understand TVs and overall a perfect house. Housekeeping could be better, but not the owners fault! Beach access and location is perfect! Will be returning next year!

Never again!

Carolina Shores was great to work with but the house left much to be desired. The coffee pot was full of mold, the living room furniture was filthy and falling apart and the deck had several rusted nails sticking out. My 1 year old nephew was running on the deck and caught his toe on a nail and ripped his toe open. I would definitely use Carolina Shores again for vacation rental but I wont be renting this specific house again.

Our family had a great time in KH. The house is in a great location and met our needs quite well. Ping ping table was a really, fun added bonus.

Perfect house

The house was perfect and so close to the beach! We had a great time and really appreciated the gift card. The house did have a bit of sand in it, but there was a vacuum so it was easy to clean. Will definitely stay here again.

Great view

The views of the ocean were lovely. Front deck was a great spot to hang out after a long day at the beach.

Loved the location!

We were very happy with this property. It could use a few upgrades but you can't beat the location. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Location, Location, Location!

Location is the one of the best things about this house. Unobstructed view of the ocean (except for the wires). It was great to be able to walk across the street, down the short walk way and be on the beach in two minutes. The lower level bedroom and rec room are great! We loved sitting out on the porch. The house is not luxurious like some of the new ones, but it's comfortable and is a great beach house. We had 7 adults (parents and adult children) and there was plenty of room. We have always stayed in Northern OBX - Corolla, Duck - but really loved the convenience of Kitty Hawk. We would definitely stay in this house again

Fantastic location

This was out first trip to the Outer Banks and we had no idea where would be a good location but we nailed it with this place! It was a great location and the house was in good repair and clean (except for in evitable sand that comes with a beach house but there was a vacuum and broom for us to deal with that anyway!) Well stocked with kitchen appliances and no trouble with the house at all!

Great location

Older house with updated appliances and comfortable furniture/bedding. Deck and railing also dated and need tlc/repair/replace as does the carpet. Musty smell throughout. Rental price per sq/ft with ocean view un obstructed made this property a good value. I reported a couple of issues the day after we arrived, window screens and exhaust fan over the stove. These issues were never addressed but, someone did come by to snake the drains in the bathrooms, must have been requested by a previous renter. A few of the spindles on the decks railing were loose, one actually blew off and struck my vehicle and left a nice dent and mark our last night there. Even with the not so pleasant ending it was a good trip and an overall good house.

Kitty Hawk rental

Location of the house was great. The kids loved the downstairs area. The owners gift card and bag of supplies was a nice touch. A few things were dirty when we arrived.
