The Space:

Welcome to Sanderling Song, an inviting coastal retreat offering a comfortable layout, thoughtful amenities, and easy access to the beach and Currituck Sound. With 4 bedrooms & 3.5 bathrooms, this home is the perfect place to settle in and enjoy a relaxing Outer Banks getaway.



The top level is where everyone comes together. The well-stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook for the whole group, with a dining room alongside for shared meals and a living room for movie nights and slow mornings. A half bath on this level means no one has to head downstairs.



On the mid-level you'll find all four bedrooms. Two queen suites each have a Smart TV, deck access and a private full bath, and one of them also opens to a separate room with a soaking tub, perfect after a day in the sun. The third bedroom has a queen bed, and the fourth sleeps up to five with a twin-over-full bunk and a twin-over-twin bunk, a favorite with kids. A full hall bath serves these rooms.



Step outside to enjoy the fresh coastal air on the spacious sun deck or relax on the screened-in porch. Fire up the charcoal grill for a fun outdoor meal, and rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day in the waves to keep the home comfortably sand free. An outdoor EV charging station adds convenience for guests traveling with an electric vehicle.



Sanderling is one of the most peaceful corners of the Outer Banks. Beach access is available through the many boardwalks in the neighborhood, including one straight ahead of the house. The soundfront community pool has a stunning view across the Currituck Sound, and the community piers and boat ramp put you right on the water for crabbing, kayaking and sunsets. Nature trails wind through the neighborhood, and tennis courts can be rented for a fee.

**Per HOA guidelines and local laws, the guests making the reservation must be at least 23 years old and be present during the entire duration of the stay. For non-family groups, all guests must be over the age of 23. If this rule or the home occupancy limit is breached, guests may be subject to fines or eviction.**



**Up to two pets are welcome for a $150 pet fee that will be added to your reservation**



The Neighborhood:

Sanderling sits at the quiet northern end of Duck, between the Atlantic and the Currituck Sound. Days here are about wide, uncrowded beaches, sunsets over the sound and nature trails through the maritime forest. A few minutes south, the town of Duck has its soundfront boardwalk, shops, galleries and some of the best restaurants on the Outer Banks.

Other Things to Note:

Payment schedule: 50% at time of booking, 50% or remaining balance due 30 days before arrival.



The following violations may be subject to additional fines of up to $300: unregistered pets, late departure without approval by host, & house left excessively messy.



Pet owners, please note: It is unlawful to have a dog that habitually or repeatedly barks. Violators of any of these Town ordinances may be fined up to $500.



The home is stocked with a starter supply of paper products and toiletries to get going, but it is recommended that you bring or purchase more to last for the duration of your stay.



High speed Wifi is an amenity that is provided at the property but we cannot guarantee functionality for issues that are beyond our control. Potential Wifi outages will always be handled in a timely manner and resolved to the best of our ability. Unfortunately it is not guaranteed that our solutions will fix the issue and refunds will not be given for Wifi malfunctions.
