Welcome to the Lawrence: The perfect getaway for large families! This oceanfront home features five spacious bedrooms and four and a half baths. Enjoy truly fantastic views of the great Atlantic Ocean from the generous open living area as well as from your dining room and gourmet kitchen. Entertain at the wet bar or relax on the screened porch overlooking the ocean. The Lawrence home has a King Master suite with its own large bathroom and also its own private ocean access. In addition to the King suite, there are 2 Queen suites, each with its own bath, and also 2 Twin bedrooms with a shared bath. The home comes fully equipped with everything you will need for a perfect vacation, including beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels.

Ships Watch amenities include easy walking distance to either the ocean or the sound. We have a swimming pool, tennis courts, and pickleball courts. On the sound, we have a 100-yard pier offering fishing and crabbing opportunities as well as beautiful sunset views. The nearby town of Duck offers many small shops, stores, galleries, and restaurants.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Good house

The house was clean, access to beach excellent. The beach was busier than expected due to proximity to dense subdivision to the north. Shared pool and tennis courts were very nice to have.
