How far is the beach?
The beach is just a few blocks away from the house so it is definitely within walking distance, however, we always recommend driving as you do have to cross one busier street. There are several free parking beach accesses within a 2 minute drive. Also, we provide 2 beach chairs, 1 cooler, and an umbrella so it is a bit easier to take everything to the beach via car!

Is There A Grill?
Unfortunately No. The Outer Banks can often times be windy and each year many people on the beach lose their homes due to grill related house fires. For this reason and safety reasons we do not have a grill at our home. :(

Do you have a tea pot?
Unfortunately No :/ But the Keurig can brew a cup of hot water for you to steep tea in!....

You will have full access to your private apartment.

Nicki and I are available by email, phone, text or the short term rental platform. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We do our best to streamline and make communications as easy as possible to make this trip seamless for you :)

We live next to some amazing neighbors who look out for each others home. It is extremely safe and quiet here. There are only houses on one side of the street making it very quiet and relaxing vs other areas in the Outer Banks.

Lovely place

The apartment was very clean and cozy. The location was also great, and we easily found parking for the beach across the road. We ended up extending a day because of how much we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful two night getaway! Apartment was beautifully decorated with all the needed amenities! Host was helpful and answered questions in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this apartment and the other apartments in the house managed by the host!

Perfect Getaway - Highly Recommended

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, offering both privacy and convenience to local attractions. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. Whether it was relaxing in the cozy jacuzzi tub or enjoying the weather on the couch on the patio, this place truly felt like a home away from home. The host was amazing and met us check in early!! 4.5 or 9.5(?) stars only due to needing to invest in some sound-proofing for the upstairs tenants. The property was just as described in the listing and great for my daughter and me. The location was perfect for us to explore the different towns on OBX and the accommodations made us look forward to coming back at the end of each day! Any questions I had about the property were answered in the communication provided by the owner! Technology, temperature of unit, water pressure were all great and easy to navigate—things I don’t want to worry about on a vacation!
