Large private fenced yard with guest patio, fire pit and surrounding gardens.

  • Super clean, comfortable and cozy home away from home with creative decor inside and out. This one bedroom apartment has a spacious open concept lay out with a large well equipped kitchen and living room area. There is a sofa bed and electric fireplace in the living room . Roku TV and surround sound plus many many movies for the whole family to enjoy. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom plus access to a single foam mattress if required. There is no laundry facilities in the apartment but I do offer a free laundry service if in need . The half acre property is completely fenced and perfect for your dog to run leash free and the host dog is always up for playtime. There is a patio with a fire pit surrounded by gardens exclusive to guests but you’re also welcome to roam the property at your leisure. There is free parking for one vehicle in the back yard parking lot.
    It’s a lovely neighbour hood to explore with the Grand river right across the road , ball diamonds and soccer fields , parks and trails and two of the cities favourite restaurants are all within walking distance. It is a quick drive to anywhere in the city yet still in a small town setting . A short drive outside of the city puts you in the heart of Mennonite country with villages that offer local attractions and markets. Also close by is the Elora racetrack and casino.

This little treasure was an awesome place to stay! Very clean and everything supplied for all your needs for an extended stay! The bed was big and comfy! Great shower with lots of hot water complete with big fluffy towels! We enjoyed the host's eclectic taste in decorating. Her yard was lovely and big where we enjoyed an outside picnic lunch! Very quiet and private little piece of heaven to enjoy some holiday time!

The host, Kathy, is exceptionally nice and accommodating. She made our time there a lovely one. Her dog is drop dead gorgeous. She decorated the lodging in the cutest way. I was so impressed with both her yard and her lodging and her decorating style. This was so much better than staying in a motel.

One of the best places we've stayed at. Everything you need, cozy, quiet and a beautiful property with secure parking. You don't have anything to worry about. Kathy is an amazing person and very thoughtful. I loved her dog 🐶, he is adorable. The fresh flowers and fruit tray was a bonus.

What a lovely extremely clean spot , so many exceptional details from fresh flowers in the kitchen and bathroom, a fresh fruit bowl and all the interesting pieces of decor throughout the apartment and the garden . Everything we needed was at our fingertips, We spent a great deal of time sitting in the garden just enjoying the grounds and all the whimsical items decorating the area Kathy was extremely attentive to all our needs Overall a most enjoyable experience

Doggy heaven for sure, my pup's absolutely loved the huge backyard. The host was amazing! Kathy was friendly, incredibly accommodating and thoughtful. We very much enjoyed our 2 & 1/2 weeks here and would highly recommend this property.

Great little dog-friendly spot

Kathy's place was perfect for our short stay in the area. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The yard is fantastic for dogs and our dog had fun playing with Sivian (Kathy's dog).

Wonderful cozy accommodations. Had everything we needed. Kathy was a wonderful host and communicated very clearly. The property was perfectly located for us to visit family without too much of a drive in either location. We were so thankful to have been able to stay here. There’s a full kitchen, shower, and cozy living room.

A 10/10 for sure! Every thing in description accurate & host filled with hospitality! Dog friendly. Clean, comfortable. Everything you'll need. Safe neighborhood that has walking trail by river only a block away. Great fenced-in backyard. Do communicate with host prior to arrival for entry instructions. Do read the informative guest manual--important stuff in there. Plan to stay here again when in area. People with mobility concerns be aware that there are stairs.

An oasis in the big city! Quiet neighborhood, quaint garden, easy to get around everywhere we wished to go. Great for a couple that just needs some down time. Hostess went above and beyond our expectations. We definitely give this a 10 plus.
