"Helpful staff, took a little explanation, but I managed to make a local phone call at the desk. Clean and comfortable rooms, I liked the mini-desk in my room, which is very useful. Breakfast is sufficient and have a good variety."

"Quiet and older onsen by the river and train tracks in Gero onsen town. A shuttle service is providing certain hours, but we opted to walk to the resort from the train station. After a hot bath I recommend having a nice cold milk from the vending machines. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and it was fun to try the dinner/breakfast. Some instructions and info on how and what we were eating would have been nice but not knowing is a fun part of that experience! Thank you for having us!"

"Great location for exploring Kiso Valley and the Nakasendo Trail. Hotel is Japanese style with Onsen and tatami rooms, but also private baths and western amenities. Great view of the local river from most or all rooms."

"I love everything, their breakfast buffet is excellent, the room is clean and the onsen is relaxing. Just a bit disappointed because the water in the onsen is not 源泉掛け流し^_^"
