"Peaceful, quiet. no cars, airplanes. Just the birds, sheep, sound of the wind, and the surf of the Ocean. I went for hikes and slept fantastically each night. This is a place to relax and get away from the crowds. Enjoyed every minute of it."

"Cottage was perfect when we approached and went through the door , we moved the wicker basket to use it as a coffee table as it had glass on top of it , underneath there was lots of dead beasties , dread to think what the bottom of the basket was like , I swept them up and carried on , to realise we could not lock the door from the inside so had to leave it unlocked , apart from that it’s a lovely little place for a night or 2"

"What a great cottage! Alix was very accommodating and helpful while we got settled in. We were able to sample the cupboard cakes and they are highly recommended. We started every morning in the sun room with coffee and met several of the pea hens who were pretty entertaining. Great walk to the beach which we had all to ourselves. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay longer! Thank you again Alix!"

"We have just spent two days in this fabulous cottage to explore the NC500 without the stress of bringing our motorhomes up this far. (The A roads can be a bit challenging up here as some parts are single track) The cottage was spotlessly clean, spacious and cosy and also dog friendly. There were 4 adults and 2 dogs in our party. "A lovely and unusual property right on a loch. The breakfast room in this gorgeous estate has expansive views of the loch and hills. We stayed in the New Garden Suite, which was like having our own wing with a large room with a king sized bed and a remodeled bathroom. It was extremely clean, the bedding was high quality, and robes and slippers were provided. Breakfast was delicious with many options."
