"Great place on secluded cove of Lake Marion. House has been redone inside and is nicely decorated and fully equipped. It was very clean and light. We ate most meals on the deck as it was so nice outside although the small breakfast table and large dining table with view of the water are also nice. Boat launch and popular local restaurant less than 5 minute drive. Host was great.Highly reccomend!"

"This hotel is just lovely! The suite we had was extremely clean. The furnishings and artwork were most intriguing. The location was ideal for walking downtown. The breakfast was excellent and included in the stay. We ate at hotel restaurant both evenings. The food was very good, as was the service."

"This is an old boarding house with great history. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. A code is given to get into the front door and for your assigned room. We did have problems getting into our room but once i figured out who to call, she took care of it quick. Very close to Back Woods . "
