気になった点 : 清潔度、施設のコンディションと設備
This property cancelled our booking hours after we arrived in a country we didn’t know with no explanation or advance notice so we were stranded with nowhere to stay and forced to make a last minute booking late at night for substantially more than we expected. DO NOT BOOK HERE!
I booked this property nearly 3 weeks in advance to attend the funeral of a family member who passed away in Jamaica. When our small group of grieving family members arrived in Kingston we met with other relatives to be there for one another.
We decided to contact the host to ask if it was okay if we arrive at the hotel a bit later than check in time but we didn’t receive a response for hours. We called Expedia and learned that the booking was made through Vrbo and neither Expedia or Vrbo could reach the property.
Instead of focusing on grieving with family we were now concerned about whether we had a place to stay in a country we didn’t know.
After a few hours we received an email that our booking was cancelled and we were refunded. We were left with no where to stay in a country we didn’t know late on. Friday night. Our group had to pool funds together to afford another hotel that cost us more than double what we expected to pay because of the last minute booking.
