Everything freshly painted for the 100 year Rt 66. New locks, smaller size rooms but good mattress and may hear trains during night but didn’t bother us since they weren’t honking! Nice 66 place to stay!

Room was comfortable, clean & safe, w/plenty of parking and friendly staff. Fine for one night.Bathroom has been updated since it was obviously a travel lodge before, the faint TL from a removed logo on the shower door gave it away! Air-conditioning worked well on this extremely toasty night. An older property right on historic Route 66, so there’s definitely siren noise as well as the train. The AC provided enough white noise to mostly block the other noises. One disappointment was no chain for the door for added security.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. No blow dryer or coffee pot. But coffee was available at office from 6:30 till 9:30 AM. If you want quiet. This not the motel for you. It is right by train tracks and of course historic Route 66.

The office staff was very friendly and informative. The room was basic but clean and comfortable.
