「We absolutely loved our stay at the Herbert House!! We were looking for a convenient, walkable location that was also quiet as we have a toddler. This place delivered!! We easily walked to downtown and restaurants but also enjoyed breakfast on site every morning. The family who runs this home is very sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. 「We had a fabulous stay in this gem of a country house. Dinner was terrific and we had a stunning room overlooking the lake. 」

「Large and classically decorated rooms. Next to the river with its relaxing sound if you go to the garden or the Summer House. Delicious breakfast. Only caveat: a walk to the centre of town takes 22 min. Or it will set you back €17 by Uber. Think twice if you haven't got a car.」

「What a special place. You immediately feel comfortable when you first walk in. The room we stayed in was large with plenty of space for 3 of us and a spectacular view. The pool was a nice bonus to soak in after a long day. It’s a short walk into town but far enough out that you aren’t in the middle of the hustle and bustle. 」

「We really enjoyed our stay! Hosts were fantastic, cute farm animals around. Very accommodating!」
