Our butler Adam, Momin (Bengali chef), Riaz I believe was the Bengali server’s name, the photographer Vizam, and the Bengali lifeguard were all amazing staff. They made our stay enjoyable and we loved the resort a lot.

It is an amazing resort, and I was lucky enough to spend my birthday there. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay truly special. We were especially impressed by Maniuu, who looked after us throughout our stay and made sure everything was perfect. We absolutely loved the sound and healing session overlooking the beach with the wonderful June – it was such a peaceful and unique experience. All of the restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was consistently good with great variety. The marine life around the resort is incredible. We saw sharks, many beautiful fish, and even manta rays, which was an unforgettable experience. The surroundings are simply stunning. We stayed in an overwater bungalow, which was fantastic – amazing views, a spacious and comfortable room, and the nets overlooking the ocean were my favourite spot to lie back, relax, and enjoy the scenery. I also received a birthday cake, which was not only delicious but such a thoughtful and lovely gesture. I truly felt spoiled. During our stay, we also took part in art classes with an amazing artist. I was genuinely surprised by how unhurried and detailed the experience was – he was incredibly patient, explained everything step by step, and we came away with a beautiful keepsake to remember our time there. We had a fantastic stay at Kaani Palm Beach. Rooms are spacious, a/c works really well, good sized bathroom and a really comfortable large bed. The infinity pool on the roof is a great bonus with fantastic views, although it can get very warm in the afternoons. The Kaani sunbeds on part of bikini beach are free, and have an umbrella. The main attribute for the hotel however, is the staff. We met so many lovely members of staff, that I can't remember them all, but I would like to mention Azmeem, one of the managers who helped us when we had a problem with the room. In the restaurant, Anisur, Try, Farouk, MD Alom and Omelette man Rana (apologies for any spelling mistakes) were all absolute stars, I would like to mention more, but my memory lets me down. Would definitely love to come back to this hotel 💯

To say that Kagi island resort and Spa felt likea piece of Paradise on earth is an understatement! Beautiful Landscaping with lush vegetation set in the middle of turquoise, aquamarine and sapphire waters of the Maldives, the island is a visual feast. The underwater scenery is equally stunning with the healthiest coral reefs I have encountered with tropical fish of every color and shape! Yes, the currents can be a bit strong, but that's what keeps the Reefs healthy by bringing in nutrients, removing wastes and dispersing eggs etc. If you are not a confident swimmer, I highly recommend booking a guided house reef snorkeling session. MSTS divers were so helpful, and gave my parents a truly spectacular guided house reef tour by 'Imaan' where they held on to a life buoy ring, maneuvered by him. Special thanks to Ahmed also, for the snorkeling lesson and the rest of the dive team for awesome Manta experience (where we ended up seeing more nurse sharks and stunning shoals of fish).
