"This was my third stay at the Arcadian Cabin. Another relaxing and peaceful one in the middle of winter. Both the hosts and cabin itself keep me coming back. Jake and Becky are excellent hosts. Communication from the listing through the stay and even after has always been excellent. I've had no issues receiving prompt and knowledgeable responses to any questions or concerns during my stays. The Arcadian fulfills all of my needs for a vacation rental from necessary amenities to a peaceful, bucolic setting perfect for either relaxation or outdoor activities. Having stayed multiple times at the Arcadian, I am impressed with the upkeep at the cabin. There doesn't appear to be any wear and tear after several years of staying here, only additions such as the new handrail outside, Adirondacks for the firepit and Keurig.I highly recommend the Arcadian for a stay in the Driftless. Excellent location in a bucolic setting in a valley along the Bishop's Branch. Viroqua is an easy 5 miles for any necessities, entertainment or dining."

"Host was very accommodating to our time of arrival. The house was absolutely gorgeous and clean. Bed is super comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Make sure to enjoy the hot tub and look at the stars. Watch the deer while you eat at the dinner bar. Sit on the porch and watch the eagles. Enjoy your time and connect. "

"The cabin was nice and location was quiet. We were expecting a fireplace for the holidays. Apparently the fireplace listed twice in the description had been removed the year prior, due to operational issues. Unfortunately, the description had not been updated. This was a disappointment and the owner apologized, but there was nothing to be done. The wood for the fire pit that was outside was too wet to be used. Other than this issue the stay was fine. Comfortable cabin and the creek running close to the front is a nice reminder of nature. The property limits are outlined and are fairly tight so any walking or hiking needs to be done farther away - short drive or longer walk away.Tanya was responsive and that was appreciated."
