Amazing lodge, immaculate, cosy, comfy beds, well stocked with everything you need, stunning views and well cared for. It had a Smart TV so you could watch Netflix etc which is what we love. It was only 10-15 min drive to Keswick. One of the nicest lodges we have stayed in and really would recommend it. The lodge is in one of the best plots right opposite the lake. We loved the view in a morning having coffee overlooking the lake, a very impressive lodge. The host was very responsive and helpful at all times. We will definitely be returning.

It was a lovely lodge and we had a special time. The only thing as a negative was that all the cutlery,cups plates glasses could do with a good clean as we had to washthem before use.

Thank you for letting us stay at your lodge. Everything was great. A nice , relaxed , break.Everything you need , and much more , was there. Even though we had the mispleasure of a storm , it didn’t stop us doing anything. Our Cocker Spaniel loved it too - even dog bowls supplied , if needed.May well book again if The Lakes is our destination x

We loved our salty ate the lodge. The grounds are tidy and as described being next to the lake and very peaceful. The birds that visit and feed from the deck are beautiful and great to watch. Lodge is warm and cosy and has everything needed for a great stay. Ali was great to deal with and very good with responding if we have any questions. Thank you for such a lovely time in the Lake District for our first time there!

This home is right on the lake, perfect for a quiet stay in a beautiful location, with a gorgeous view of the lake. Close to many Lake District attractions. The host was very responsive before and during our stay, provided many helpful recommendations for things to do in the area and nearby necessities. The check in process was very smooth and easy. The house is well equipped with necessary items to make your stay comfortable. Overall great, we had a lovely Lake District vacation!

Another fantastic stay! This is our second visit to this lodge and both times have been amazing! Thr hosts ate very quick to return any questions we had and are always accommodating to our needs. The location is fantastic and gives us plenty of places to visit during our stay!

Wunderschön gelegene und perfekt ausgestatte Lodge. Mit Seeblick nicht nur von der Terrasse aus, sondern auch vom Esstisch aus. Der See ist auch zum Baden geeignet, zumindest wenn man bereit ist, die kalte Wassertemperatur hinzunehmen. (Im gut erreichbaren, sehr schönen Ort Keswick gibt es diverse Outdoor-Geschäfte, wo man preisgünstig Neoprenanzüge kaufen kann.) Wenn einem der See zu kalt ist, kann man alternativ den Lodge-eigenen Whirlpool nutzen. Die gesamte Ferienanlage ist unglaublich ruhig, insbesondere auch sehr, sehr wenig Autoverkehr. Der eigene Parkplatz direkt neben der Eingangstür machte das Ein- und Ausladen sehr einfach. Die letzten paar Kilometer der Zufahrtsstraße sind größtenteils nur einspurig, so dass man entsprechend langsam fahren muss, um bei Gegenverkehr eine Ausweichbucht suchen zu können. (Dies ist aber nicht unbedingt ein spezifischer Nachteil der Lodge, sondern einspurige Straßen trifft man in der Region häufiger mal an.) Insgesamt ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt um schwerpunktmäßig die nördliche Hälfte des Lake District zu erkunden.

Excellent location and lodge. Very peaceful and quiet. Keswick only 15 minutes away. Lake was excellent but don’t forget to bring your equipment etc as you cannot hire any canoes, boat on site. One minor bad comment was the outside furniture had bird poo on it and could have been avoided if they had been covered. Will definitely be booking at again and recommend to anyone wanting a quiet holiday with family and friends.

Lovely lodge which suited our needs perfectly. Less than 10 minutes drive to all the walks we had planned. Site was very peaceful with a lovely view over the lake. Will definitely book again

Home from home .Everything worked ! Basically everything you needed was in the lodge . Water hot , power in the shower , bath lovely . It’s important after a day of heavy walking . Close to drive into Keswick and a local pub 5 minutes drive away with lovely food . A lake for sports if required .

A lovely long weekend with kids

Great location, well stocked kitchen. Nearby kid friendly activities like the Lake District Wildlife Park. We would definitely come back for longer. The walls are a bit thin but (I have never stayed in a lodge before so this is likely very normal). It didn't bother the kids at all at night and they slept like logs.

Lovely Homely Lodge

Such a lovely homely lodge with a beautiful setting. Perfect base for the North Lakes. The lodge was very cosy and had everything we needed. We loved the whirlpool bath, a lovely surprise. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely lakeside lodge
