What a lovely hotel with helpful charming staff like Jamie who went the extra mile to answer all my queries - excellent. Room was great and breakfast good too. Will definitely stay again. A+++++

Breakfast was really good and staff really lovely and extremely helpful. Pleasant bar and good location for the castle. Parking good
Quiet, clean and functional small room.
Comfy bed, powerful shower. Nice and cool despite hot weather. Good size TV.
Easy check in and check out.
Parking was limited and was full. Large public car park 2 mins away and only £3 overnight charge.
Basic room but everything worked, good shower, decent toiletries and tea/coffee tray. Not enough or not visible enough staff at breakfast though. Beer lines needed cleaning too.
Staying on business. Had a single room which was fine. Nice big bathroom. Room was a little stuffy even though it was cold outside so could be unbearable in the summer. Bar/restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was lovely.
The steps up to the rooms are quite steep. Room 21 was very small; it is much smaller than any room we’ve stayed in before. Managing two large suitcases required strategic piecemeal unpacking and repacking. The twin beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent.
One night business stop over but wish it was for longer!
Excellent value for money - good food, friendly and attentive staff. Great choices and variety for breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
