「Very close from the station, nice river view and clean room.」

「Was a fantastic stay with friendly staff who looked after us. Absolutely one of the best stays on an hotel. Food also was excellent. Both me and my wife would recommend the Gateway.」

「The rooms were fine-we’d stay there again. The bathroom fan was running in the wrong direction-pulling air in.」

「We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there」

「Close to the train station.」

「Exceptional stay! Beautiful breakfast, great location and very clean! Would highly recommend.」

「Property was very clean and comfortable and very convenient location. Stay was very enjoyable. Only issue was we were short of one towel, instructions for the convection hob would have been very helpful, a better selection of cooking saucepans and utensils would have been nice and we were unaware that parking was only free between 6pm and 8am.」

「This is an excellent property, clean and welcoming, full range of modern appliances, internet access etc.Very comfortable and we had a great time.My only niggle is that there is no coffee machine/cafetière so no coffee in the morning.. if this could be added the house would be perfect..」

「Wonderful week in a really beautiful setting. The cottage had everything we needed for cooking and entertaining and such a comfy bed! Great stay and highly recommended」

「Perfect location for a family get-together. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped and the grounds are beautiful. Kerith and Daryl were excellent hosts.」
