"Excellent stay. Staff and accomodation first class. Being a golfer it was perfect . The facilities and course were excellent. The course despite the horrendous recent weather was excellent and a credit to the greenkeepers. Can’t wait to go back. "

"We had a wonderful time! The hotel is in a great location, a short drive into Kendal town centre. The gardens are lovely although it was a bit rainy so we didnt get to roam much! Check in was quick as we could do it online, reception team were lovely (the kids appreciated their activity packs!) Our room was clean and modern, comfy beds and beautiful bathroom. Also, we we were in the quiet area which was perfect. The pool was clean and warm, kids swim times which meant that we didnt feel as though we were disturbing the other swimmers. The gym is also well equipt and air conditioned. The bar area was good, the kids enjoyed their free lemonade! Breakfast was what you would expect, plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was fresh. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The accomodation was great but it was the little touches from the team that made the hotel stand out. We look forward to returning! "

"We stayed for 2 nights. Needed a dog friendly hotel and this ticked all the boxes. The grounds are beautiful and extensive. Waking up to half a dozen deer on the lawn was lovely. The family room was fantastic, the bathroom was very clean and looked newly renovated. The food is as all the reviews state. We enjoyed every single meal. We are already looking at booking another stay."
