The house itself needed updating and repair such as light switches/lights that don’t work, the uncomfortable seating, water damaged ceiling and walls with poor patching and painting, dirty windows, sagging mattress in the first floor bedroom, and overall need of a fresh coat of paint on baseboards and walls. 「We had a great vacation!! The house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for two families. The dock was perfect for lounging by the lake while the covered portion was perfect for the smaller kids to be out of the sun. The only thing I will say is that the steps are something else. We have stayed at several houses on Tim's Ford with steep steps, but these are straight up with no plateaus and no hand rails. It was a little scary for the smaller kids, so just prepare for that.
