"We enjoyed a partial view of the ocean from our balcony. We also appreciated Laundry facilities on the property. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We did notice that most of the time during our stay approximately half of the elevators were not working. Good thing we don't mind taking the stairs!"

"Resort is Beautiful, Our Condo was Awesome, we had a two bedroom two bath oceanfront and we would sit out on the lanai drinking our coffee watching the well put on a show. Parking was a Breeze, the only downside it’s never long enough, and we did catch a little bit of the storm, but it was still amazing! Would love to go back one day!"

"Very dirty hotel. Our carpet was disgusting with large dirt spots. There was dust everywhere. No soap when we came in. Light bulbs went off. Broken cabinets. Bathroom smelled like pee and the whole hotel smells humid overall. Braved to eat at the restaurant and there was a hair on my food. Stay somewhere else "

"My husband & I stayed at the Maui Kei for 3 weeks. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai eating breakfast & dinner and watching the sunset. The views are amazing!! You are so close to the ocean, you almost feel like you’re in it!! We saw lots of turtle’s & whales. Definitely take the ride to Hāna. If you get carsick take something beforehand. Also go to the Haleakalā summit. We saw the blow holes, which are only about 10 miles away. We met a lot of really nice people that have been staying at the Maui Kei for 20 plus years. We had a BBQ by the pool 2 nights with about 10 people . We were in Maui during the 50 year flood so the only thing we weren’t able to do is go to the IOA needle and zip lining. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby Merrimons, Dukes, Sea House & Mamas Fish House. John is a WONDERFUL host!! Every time I reached out to him (I reached out to him a lot) he responded very quickly. When we arrived the lid to the coffee pot was missing, and you can’t use the coffee pot without the lid. I contacted John and he overnighted the lid to me. The condo is very clean. At night you can hear the sounds of the ocean. We never heard any cars doors banging, people talking or any other noise. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone. The views are spectacular, very clean & John is a fantastic host!!!If we return, I would definitely stay here again. "We reached during the storms, and were told the day before by the staff that all is well, so we did not cancel the trip. Although later we realized they had known about road blocks and staff taking off. When we called that we would be late as stuck in traffic block (flooding and damaged roads) and may not make it to the hotel since might have to stay on the other side of the road overnight, the best they came up with “we could waive off the late arrival fee”! The room was supposed to be “full ocean view” and we paid extra on Expedia for it — not partial but our room, although di’s have ocean and some hills view faced the air conditioning or some noise making machines from the balcony. They had advertised kitchen with stove, so we came prepared with groceries from Costco especially with the storm, they provide a small electric plate. Rooms are spacious and staff was courteous but housekeeping was once in 7 days. Their facility was flooded, parked on the road, mini golf soaking and pool/stairway etc closed yet we were charged $$$ for the resort fee. I wish as a Hilton property, they reimbursed for the inconvenience or at least did not charge for the resort fee as most of the facility was not usable, including elevators, that were mostly stuck and out of order. I expected more for the price we paid. They also do not provide any herbal/green tea bags like normally hotels do. "

"The property was absolutely stunning. We brought our family of four, and our 12‑year‑old especially loved having the freedom to roam and explore. Everything was clean and well maintained. There were definitely a lot of people around, but it never felt overwhelming since we spent most of our time at the beach. Overall, a beautiful place for a relaxing family getaway."
