「What a lovely setting. So quiet & peaceful, beautiful views, lots of amazing bird life in the subtropical gardens. We loved sitting on the deck with sundowners and walking through the garden & woods down to the beach. Just a special place to be. We were made to feel very welcome. Thank you.」

「The ocean views were amazing! Falling asleep to the sound of waves was a joy. The house is beautiful with huge windows and decks on 2 sides and was well stocked. Comfortable beds, great shower, toilet separate from shower/tub room, clean, new appliances. It was a great jumping off point to see the Treaty Grounds and museum, a boat ride to Hole in the Rock (we saw whales!), and a drive to Cape Reinga. 」

「Wonderful place to stay, with extra touches to make our stay special. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). 」

「Wow! What a view from the balcony! It was amazing to arrive in time to see the sun going down over the water. We were met by Jane who showed us around the property, recommended some trips for our short stay, places to eat and walks - all were excellent suggestions. The Loft was incredibly well kitted out - tea, coffee etc, a cold beer on arrival, bathroom lotions, games, books… The morning kayak trip was fitted into a busy itinerary & much enjoyed. Jane kept in regular contact and helped out...
