「Very pleasant 1 night stay. No complaints about anything. Hope to return in summer to enjoy the garden. Very popular with the locals by the look of it. It would be my choice of place to meet friends and family if I were local. Loved the roaring real fire when we arrived on a cold wet day. 」

「Lovely lodge Lovely grounds lots of animals to see birds peacocks roaming in grounds . Only thing went for meal at main hotel and found it disappointing due to being over cooked or warmed and not over nice.. being the only ones in restaurant due to early seasons put it down to that.」

「The interior of the property was disappointing. Beds were not made and the pillows were very poor. The kitchen was perfect, the living room average, and the toilets were very clean and tidy. The shower space is very small, so I wouldn’t recommend it, but I understand that is a limitation of the property. The staff welcomed us well, but at checkout I had a negative experience. I asked for 15 minutes to finish my breakfast since checkout time was not yet reached, but the staff insisted on taking...

「 The stay was comfort, place was clean, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean facilities. Small touches like a welcome pack, and flowers were great. Furthermore breathtaking mountain not far away and green lush meadows, lakes and pine dense forests make it more attractive. 」

「An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months」

「Staff were friendly, room is very outdated and had a strange smell. Beds were average, shower was good. Breakfast in the morning wasn’t fantastic, we paid £120 for one night stay with breakfast but not sure it’s quite worth that to be honest. Wouldn’t stay here again.」
