Karpaty Krosno Stadium

The hotel’s location is great, right near the tram and train lines. The room was clean, but the beds, mattresses, and pillows were pretty uncomfortable, and the single duvet was way too small. The most annoying part was the AC control panel located right across from our beds; it didn't have a cover, so the super bright lights stayed on all night and were really distracting. (If there was a way of turning the light off, i didn't work it out! ) I ended up covering it with my clothes to block the glow. The room itself was spacious and a decent value for the money, especially given the location. One tip: our room faced the main road and it was quite noisy, so if you're a light sleeper like me, definitely ask for a room facing the back instead.

We booked a twin room. This was well proportioned and a generous size. The room had tea and coffee facilities. There was a fridge and safe. The room was cleaned daily and supplies topped up. We booked breakfast. This was a popular choice and on both occasions they were unable to seat us in the restaurant as it was full, so we were taken to a sister hotel around the corner. Other than needing to leave the premises the breakfast experience at the other hotel was excellent both in terms of service and the range of food on offer, Would recommend. The staff in the hotel were very friendly. The lift broke down during our stay. This happens but on our departure day no help was offered with our cases. The hotel arranged a taxi to the airport. This worked well. It was a fixed price and the driver was on time. The location of the hotel in the old town is excellent. We were in walking distance of the main square. There were plenty of shops and places to eat to cater for all tastes. Krakow has history and culture in abundance. We visited churches, museums and the castle in our short stay and all within walking distance. Would recommend this hotel if visiting Krakow as our overall experience was very good.
