Search Castles in Karatsu

The most freshest food I eat in all of japan and also the most exotic too. The views from the room was beyond picturesque, it was one of those moments when you just sip your coffee and just look at the sun riseing up out of the ocean with the volcanic looking island scattered along the cost and think this is something.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. I had a

The western style room was AMAZING. The ryokan has it's own bathing facilities which are also awesome.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. The staff were absolutely fantastic and were prepared to help take care of any need asked. The onsen attached to the hotel was very nice and from the hot tub you could look out at the ocean. Lastly the breakfast was a wonderful traditional Japanese breakfast that included sashimi, miso, rice, and several other items that varied day to day. We will absolutely stay here again next time we are in the area.

It was my first time checking into a hotel without staff on site. The hotel will send you an email with an entry code to get into the lobby. Once inside, there's a tablet you use to check in. After you snap a photo of your passport, you get connected to the hotel staff via video call to verify your identity. Then you will get your room code on the screen. Take a picture of your room code with your phone. The hotel is very roomy and very close to the station.

Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. The spacious bathroom was a wonderful surprise, and the ReFa hair dryer made the experience feel even more luxurious. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. If you’re visiting Karatsu, I highly recommend staying here, exploring the town, and enjoying the fresh local seafood. We would definitely love to stay here again.

I was a little wary staying at a shipping container hotel, but I was blown away by this place. Really everything was perfect about it. The room was spotless and had all the amenities you could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and were prepared to deal with a language barrier. It even has laundry and free light meals that were quite good! And all for a great price. Next time I'm in Karatsu this will he my go-to.

The room was very spacious. The area was quiet and close to a Konbini.

TOUSUMI was an incredible experience. It was in a great location, surrounded by great restaurants, stores, and subway stations, and was easily accessible and accommodating. The rooms were cleaned excellently and the staff even went above and beyond to ensure cleanliness and assist us with our inquiries. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. The facilities were spacious, well-thought out, modern and minimalist, and comfortable, with appropriate amounts of AC/heating as well as a...

Convenient basement connection to the subway and JR trains

The hotel looked newly opened. Room was very cozy and calming - gave me zen like feel from entrance of the property and to the room. Selection of complimentary drinks (including wine and Sake) were great! Not too far from train station, plenty of restaurants (Izakaya and Cafe) in walking distance too. I will definitely book this hotel again!

Very easy to get around and very easy to shop. We mainly go to the eating places.

Perfect for families. This location is right on the edge of lively areas but just a short walk to everything you want or need for kids and adults. The staff was also very helpful and we’re happy to accommodate every step of the way with the best attitudes.

I enjoyed my stay
