This is a superb property! One of the very best units at Aston Islands, On The Beach, which is a very nice complex. This one is directly on the ocean, top floor, call the unit which means an extra window facing south with a whole bunch of different viewers, including “ a close up (but never noisy) seen at lava lava beach, restaurant and bar, which is the next property over to the south. The sound of waves is constant and you hear nothing from the bar. This is just a great place to stay. Late 90% of the units in On The Beach. It desperately needs kitchen renovated getting rid of the ridiculous arms, which take up half the kitchen space all over this property and installing a proper size sink and fridge. These things are miserable and depressing so it really doesn’t deserve five stars, but I’mgiving it anyway because the location is so good.

Perfekter Urlaub!

Das Condo im Aston Islander on the Beach ist wunderschön. Als wir angekommen sind, war es durch die Klimaanlage angenehm heruntergekühlt. Alles ist sehr sauber, es gibt Gläser, Tassen und Teller für vier Personen, viele Handtücher in alles Größen und auch Strandtücher. Besonders schön ist der Balkon mit den Hochstühlen und dem hohen Tisch, so kann man sehr schön auf das Meer gucken. Das Bett ist bequem, das Badezimmer gut ausgestattet (Seife, Shampoo, Conditioner, Fön). Reinigungsmittel für Küche und Bad sowie Toilettenpapier und Küchenpapier gibt es auch.Es gibt immer einen Parkplatz!Nur wenige Schritte entfernt ist das Marketplace mit Shops und Restaurant.Ein perfekter Ort für perfekte Urlaubstage!

First condo of our trip

This condo worked out perfectly for our family of three. It was very clean, well stocked, and most of all had a great view of the ocean! We found it to be centrally located for the activities we had planned. The resort grounds and pool area are beautifully landscaped with many different types of plants and flowers. This has definitely set the bar high for the other places we stay on the other islands of our Hawaii trip.

A little slice of paradise

Wonderful location - steps from the beach, excellent view. Appreciated the included parking pass. Would recommend that the listing also note that the property also has 2 portable coolers and 2 beach chairs; if it's listed, I missed it, and rented it from a local shop

Location is excellent

Exactly what we were looking for. To be able to walk over to Lava Lava and have the beach 50 feet away is invaluable. We will be back.

Perfect for our stay

This charming studio met our needs quite nicely. It is a walk up...so if you struggle with stairs keep looking! Plentiful linens provided so we did not need to take advantage of the towel exchange. There is a small farmer's market a couple of days a week in the parking lot of the Coconut marketplace, and the central location made it an easy drive to other parts of the island. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Good value

Nice unit and view. The beach is not for swimming due to rocks and currents but nice to look at. Friendly staff. The only drawback are the roosters crow all the time but then they are all over the island

Great ocean front studio in central location

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The ocean is literally 50 feet away with loungers on the beach for guests. Great sunrise views from the lanai. The building this unit is in is a 30 second walk to the pool, hot tub and pool bar. The property is beautifully landscaped and lush. Be prepared for substantial wind and wave noise on the lanai being that close to the water though. Surprisingly the pool area was very sheltered if that is more your thing.

We always love it here

We had everything we needed. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at islander on the beach and we really enjoy it. Having an ocean front room is so nice. We will always come back

Great short term stay

Beautifully redone condo hotel room corner unit right on the beach path. Very comfortable and well equipped. A bit confusing dealing with both VRBO and VACASA, the rental manager. Suggest doing things thru the manager once you are confirmed.

Kauai on the beach

Clean and cute and right on the beach. Easy walking distance to the coconut market and the lava lava lounge and restaurant. Loved our stay

Great location!

Clean room with comfy beds and pillows. The highlight, of course, is the ocean view from the balcony. Impressive sunrises made our early wake ups worth it. Highly recommend!
