It was an excellent property with excellent and accommodating staff. however Expedia did mis-selling by advertising a misleading picture and promising different type of accommodation but booking a lower /different room. However the staff at Hotel did accommodate to our request without any additional charges

Close to station but disappointed with the stay
Disappointed with the cleanliness and the maintenance of the property . Service was still good but wouldn't have required it if the rooms were clean
The staff members were kind. Room service requests were met promptly. There was issue with breakfast booking. But that was sorted once evidence was provided on arrival. There were some additional development fee charged on arrival. For driver, separate booking was requested: per night Rs 600-700 for shared room. This information was missing in the booking page. The chef kindly requested for updates every single day and took our feedback on board. Quality of food may be improved. Jagannath temple, railway station, parks, bus stations, New Digha beach are very close to this hotel. The hotel provides attractions for children: there are rides, birds, rabbits.
Good location close to Digha station with easy access to Old and New Digha but still calm. My de luxe room was a good size with a comfortable bed and armchair and good storage space. There were a number of well located power sockets. A downside was the lack of a good work space (only a low stand beside the armchair). A guide to how the TV worked would have been good. A safe for valuables would also have been good.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The check out time (09.00) was rather early but I was able to pay a bit extra for late check-out.
The restaurant was fine although I found the prohibition against bringing in own food irritating (intrusion on the guest’s integrity). This wasn’t a problem for me on this solo trip but it could lead me to choose another hotel if I came to Digha again with my family. It would be better to let the restaurant compete with quality and price rather than trying to create an artificial monopoly.
Apart from this an enjoyable stay in what is probably the best or one of the best hotels in Digha.

Ok
Linens were not clean, had to get them changed as soon as we checked in. Bathroom are so small that you barely fit in . Commode height is very uncomfortable. But you get ample supply of hot water. There was a spider 🕷 in my room. House keeping guys are nice but they lack basic training. Staff are polite and well behaved. Buffet breakfast spread was good last well as the over all food quality is good.
ROOM & TOILET IS BIG BUT THERE WAS NO LOCKER,FRIDGE, BALCONY WAS DIRTY, THERE IS NO VIEW OF SEA NOR ROAD. VIEW IS COMPLETELY BLOCKED BY BIG TREES. LOT OF DUST IN THE BALCONY. STAFF IS NOT CO-OPERATING EXCEPT DASRATH( HOUSEKEEPING BOY ). RESTAURANT STAFF IS NOT ALL GOOD. FOOD PREPARATION IS NOT UPTO THE MARK. STAFF IN THE RECEPTION IS NOT AT ALL PROFESSIONAL.
