Kansas City Get Away

This house was located in a very nice part of KC. There was a nice park directly across the street. We were within a few miles of all the shopping, activities, and restaurants we visited during our stay. Love that it was so close to Country Club Plaza for shopping and dining. There is some traffic right outside the house as it's on a busy street but by the time we went to bed that was not an issue.

KC fun

We had the best time on our visit to KC and everything at the house was perfect for our needs! Convenient location across from the park and walking distance to some yummy restaurants! Will definitely stay again when we are in KC!

Perfect, authentic Kansas City home in ideal location

First, it has to be said that the owner was AMAZING to work with. Whether it was because we panicked that something wasn't working, even though it was an easy fix or when we needed clarification about an amenity, he was so prompt with communication and so easy to work with! Second, this was SO well stocked, including having lots of details covered that most VRBOs just don't both with - like enough hooks in the bathrooms for towels, black-out curtains (HUGE asset! Why don't more home does this?!?), and a truly at-home like kitchen set up. I've said for years more VRBOs need a crockpot - and there is one! Our one tip is to be sure to read the description carefully since we clearly overlooked a few details until we were on-site: this is a 2nd floor unit (surprise -but not a bad one) and the w/d is in the basement (found that as we were checking out - oops). You really can't find a better option in such a good location that's so true to KC. The sleeping arrangements are excellent, the beds are comfy, and there are plenty of towels! Loose park right across the street offers great green space and a playground for littles! My kids would like to request more comfy living room furniture, but that was our only piece of feedback! Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect!

Loved the location. Enjoyed a walk across the street at Loose Park each morning to start our day. Also was impressed there was a big bag of coffee, so no worries of running out!

Loose Park and The Plaza

This place was perfect for our family trip. Well stocked. Looked exactly like the pictures. Comfortable beds. Easy access and parking. Walkable to The Plaza. Great management.

Friends on the Plaza

We had a great time and found the accomodations nice. The location next to the park is ideal. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, even coffee. The livingroom provided the perfect place to gather after a day's activities. You might want to oversee the trash located close to the guest entrance. As we entered and left we were greeted with empty milk cartons and other trash strewen on the ground around the trash containers.

Anniversary getaway

This is our second time staying here! We love the house, and we love the location. It’s close to loose Park and it’s an easy walk to the country club Plaza. We will be back!

Wonderful weekend!

There were seven adult females and we had a blast playing games at the large table, hitting the town, and relaxing together in the family room watching movies. Will definitely be back!

Close to the Plaza

Everyone had plenty of space in this unit to chill out comfortably in our down time. Very close to Plaza although we ended up driving instead of walking.

Plaza shopping and easy walking

We enjoyed our stay (we traveled as a family from ages 5-76 and a senior dog). Everything was tidy and as listed. The neighborhood was so cute and safe. We would stay again.

Post Christmas stay. Plaza lights (a couple blocks away) still on and were so beautiful!

Our second-floor space was spacious, accommodating our family comfortably. The young grandsons enjoyed looking out the windows at the joggers, the playground etc. across the street at Loose Park. There was an issue with the second floor door keypad not working, but Mike came and changed the batteries. Generally, a good stay.

Enjoyable

Our family took our first trip to KC and stayed here with two younger children. We were able to walk over to jc loose park directly across the street to enjoy it with the playground being very close. Not far from other amenities either. The stairs were a bit tricky but otherwise no complaints.

Long weekend in KC
