"Everything was good except the check-in and the fact there was nobody to talk to face to face. It says on Expedia that it's an hotel but hotels have check-in desk etc."

"Get the harbor view. I will dream about it for a lifetime. A rustic charming place just like Onomichi itself. Bring long charger chords. As an older hotel you need long chords to reach outlets. Very thoughtful amenities with cookies refilled daily. Good pillow options and bed is perfectly soft. "

"Food was excellent, especially the breakfast buffet selections. Staff were friendly and courteous. However, the quality and the temperature of the onsen water was a bit disappointing; not hot enough for me at all. Luckily, they have a sauna in the facility. "

"This was my favourite stay in my trip. Greeted at the entrance by a staff member whoofferex me a cokd towel and drink while they checked me in. Room was lovely. I gad difficulty with the room temperature and staff dealt eith ut whike I was at dinner. They took a photo of the remote and labelled it in English for me. The food is the highlight! It is a fixed menu full of drlightes each evening. There was miscommunication about my dietary requirements on the first night and chef made me a different course in the moment. Do rake their advice and get a taxi from station. Wonderful all round."

"An amazing hotel. The staff was very helpful and there was free access to the onsen nearby. Laundry machine access was free as well. The rooms were very spacious and had very functional furniture."
