"This hotel has basic amenities and it's proximity to the beach is wonderful. The service is exceptional and the people who work there are so wonderful. This is not a luxurious hotel by any means, but would I stay here again, yes I would. Basic comforts were provided, including a mosquito net over the bed and a mosquito repellant plug in (much needed for the third friend who didn't have a mosquito net over her single bed). "Fabulous place!! The people here are so helpful and friendly! Well, it is Sri Lanka after all!! What a gem this hotel is, the spa treatments are fab and even though we didn't pay for meals to be included we have eaten most of our meals here, lovely!! "Nice and comfy room. Beautiful garden with many beautiful birds and other wildlife. Close to the beach. Plus is for the distance to Galle Road (which is very noisy). The dinner was good, but far from great. The curry’s are way to salty. Same as for the breakfast (don’t try the chocolate pancakes). Beautiful place and very friendly staff. - Big minus for the hotels own landfill that you see if you take a walk outside the fences. They should really clean that up. Not ok! "

"I had a first floor room which is semi open and well equiped with mosquito nets, fan etc. to keep bugs away in this open setup. Enjoyed being so close to nature, waking up to birdsongs. The ground floor rooms are closed if you dont like thr thought of an open room. Accomodation is on the beach and stretches approx 1.2km and I enjoyed sunrise (over sea) and sunset walks. Swimming pool is great for laps. The spa treatments and therapists were devine, reformer pilates are offered at extra cost with studio half glassed with lovely view of beach and gardens. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Loved my stay, would highly recommend if wanting a place to relax and recharge, with friendly & helpful staff:)"
