"This very reasonably-priced resort is the way to go if visiting this area. We had a wonderful unit, perched up the hill and loved our daily treks into town below (you can also drive, but we chose not to). An added bonus was the fitness track with various exercise stations around the property and we made sure to take advantage of the pools, the hot-tub, and the saunas. Everything is well-maintained (although the ping pong table is in need of replacing 😉). The continental breakfast is a cut above and offers whole grain breads, cheese and hard boiled eggs, plus delightful little jars of chia pudding, fantastic croissants and a selection of delicious homemade kiwi jelly, lemon curd, and even homemade chocolate and hazelnut spread. Dinner at their restaurant was likewise excellent. We had a great stay at Kimi Ora and would highly recommend it!"

"We stayed at the Beach Bach and it had the most amazing views! The cabin was spacious and very well designed- loved the log burner in the middle of the living area and the fire pit outside. Great kitchen too! Had a truly amazing stay and left with great memories of a beautiful place"

"A really nice backpackers hostel. The rooms were well put together and warm during the winter. Lots of space in the kitchen and lounge and bathrooms are being renovated. " The character of the building is interesting, the setting is amazing, great privacy while still being close, access to the beaches is well formed steep track so great if you are able. Access to the house requires use of steps and there are some accessibility challenges. There is everything you could want to enjoy your stay. "

"Eden's Edge Lodge is an excellent choice for exploring the Tasman area, Kaiteriteri beach, etc. It is part of a small orchard/farm, so sources its own fruit, herbs, and eggs for breakfast. Very pleasant and relaxing, yet only a five-minute drive from Matueka for restaurants and shopping."
