This condo is truly an OCEANFRONT condo - not just a condo with an ocean view. Only the condos in buildings A & D at Kona Reef are true oceanfront units. The condos in buildings B, C, E, and F only have ocean views and are located farther away from the ocean. However, at The Seashore Escape, you have the best views from our DIRECT OCEANFRONT condo! Enjoy morning coffee, breakfast, or lunch on the lanai as you enjoy the sights and the sounds of the blue and teal waves crashing before your eyes! Lanai has ceiling fan and gorgeous views of the coast looking both to the left and to the right.

See whales, dolphins, turtles, & manta rays from the lanai. Whale season is November to Mid-March. Watch surfers, boogie boarders, & parasailors.

Location: Excellent location in Kailua-Kona. Walking distance to numerous restaurants & shops; yet this condo is very private.

Amenities: Heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi - hot tub, barbecue grills. (Swimming pool is heated all year long.)

Snorkeling: Honl's Beach is a one-minute walk, small beach for snorkeling. Condo is not far from Kahulu'u Beach Park, a larger & wonderful place to snorkel.

Island Activities: swim with manta rays, whale watching, fishing, black beaches, coffee plantations, surfing, boogie boarding, snorkel trips by catamaran or high-speed raft, hiking, Volcano National Park, South Point & the Lava Tube, Trip to Hilo to see waterfalls, chocolate making tours & tasting, coffee farm tours, and much more.

Annual Event: Kona is Home to the Annual Ironman world championships. From our lanai you can see the Ironman swimmers swim in the ocean right in front of you. You can watch the long-distance canoe races! (Ironman is usually within the first two weeks of October. Rates are higher during that time.)

Possible Late Checkout: At times, we may be able to let guests check out at 11:00 a.m. or at the very latest possibly at noon instead of the ordinary 10:00 a.m. check-out time, but that is only on a case-by-case basis. Accommodating requests for late checkouts depend on the housekeeper's schedule that day and whether we have another guest checking in that same day or a scheduled maintenance. If you do want a one or two-hour late check out, please ask us about that at least two days in advance and understand that we will do our best to accommodate you. However, late checkouts are never guaranteed.

Late Flights Home: If you have a later flight home that is not in the morning, and you would like to remain in the condo that afternoon or evening or you would like to use the condo to shower or freshen up before you go to the airport or you need to use the condo to store your luggage, please book another night so that we can accommodate your needs. Otherwise, we cannot honor requests to stay past the morning hours of the day you check out.

Access to Condo: From the front parking lot on Ali'i Drive, its only 5 steps down to our 3rd floor condo. Other parking lots have elevator access, but a short number of steps are needed to get to our condo, A-25.

Owners are experienced vacation rental hosts and own The Seashore Oasis, which is another direct oceanfront condo located in unit D36 at the same Kona Reef Resort. That condo is decorated in a stunning sunset and volcano theme.

Hawaii law prohibits smoking and vaping in hotels and condos or on the property, except in limited and marked places.
