Tuki Views

Our architecturally designed house is located in a prime site, with uninterrupted views of Te Mata Peak and the Tuki Tuki river.
Our property is private and peaceful and situated 10 minutes from Ocean Beach, 15 minutes from Waimarama, 5 minutes from Craggy Range Winery, 10 minutes from boutique shopping in Havelock North, 15 minutes from the international golf course and gannets at Clifton and 20 minutes from the art deco city of Napier.
We are situated just above the venue for Black Barn weddings held along the banks of the Tuki Tuki River. Our property is in the same subdivision as the properties featured in The Bachelor Series 2017.
The house was designed to capture the sun, and to make maximum use of uninterrupted views. The indoor/outdoor flow makes it perfect for couples or families.
We have a communal astro-turf floodlit tennis court and a large swimming pool we put up in summer, which is perfect for cooling down in for adults and children alike.
Our house is fantastic to soak up those beautiful evenings, as a base for walks, a place to unwind. If fishing is your thing, we are very close to the world renowned Tuki Tuki river.
The house is large enough to accommodate 2 families if needed.

The property has 4 bedrooms, which sleep 8. We also have a daybed in a partially screened off communal area that sleeps an additional 2 people (double).

We have 3 bathrooms, one which is an en-suite overlooking a garden. It has a gorgeous rain shower and the bedroom which it is attached to, has a stunning picture window.

On arrival, all beds are made and towels are put up, to ensure for an easy stay.
There are many basics in the pantry, which guests are free to use.

Our aim is to make the experience memorable for guests.

Fantastic location, great experience and wonderful vacation

We cannot convey enough how amazing our stay and overall vacation was and how much we would recommend this property to anyone wanting a truly unforgettable family and / or friends vacation in a great location. This property definitely has the 'wow' factor. My wife and I stayed with our two grown-up sons and the eldest son's fiancé. His fiancé's parents also joined us for three of the seven nights we were there. Diane (the host) was really helpful from the time of booking - several months ago - to the time we checked out, providing advice about things to do and see - and details about local services. The property was beautifully appointed, clean and tidy with everything you need. It provides plenty of space to socialize (wonderful communal areas inside and outside) but also for individual space if you need it (i.e. reading a book or just chilling on the beanbags by the pool). The property has everything you need if you like to cook but also lots of great dining options in nearby Havelock North, including some amazing wineries (with top-notch restaurants) in the surrounding area. Our favorite wineries were (in order): Craggy Range, Church Road and Elephant Hill (although none we tried disappointed) All bedrooms, the main living / kitchen space, outdoor deck and pool have stunning views of Te Mata peak and the river valley which was different with every sunrise and sunset. We'd love to return again in the future as there so much more to see and do.

Relaxing stay - amazing view!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay with friends to celebrate a birthday. The view was just fantastic! Diane was a welcoming host and was super responsive when we had a little hiccup with the power while we were there. Would love to stay again.

This is an awesome place for a group of friends to spend a weekend, great indoor & out door entertainment areas, awesome location with a great view looking down the river. really enjoyed the tennis court also. only slight drawback was one shower but this worked out more than ok. thanks very much.

Diane and her husband own a spacious family home overlooking the beautiful Tukituki valley with majestic views to Te Mata Peak. Surrounded by this natural beauty their property is truly relaxing with comfortable both indoor and outdoor furniture. The kitchen and scullery are both really well equipped along with the nearby barbecue. With four double bedrooms our only criticism would be that there was only one shower in the two bathrooms which was a little challenging at times.

This property is absolutely stunning!

This property is absolutely stunning! It's very clean, large and luxurious with gob-stoppingly gorgeous views of the Tuki Tuki River and Te Mata Peak. While it's a 10-15 minute drive out of Havelock North, there are plenty of things to keep kids happy (eg. lovely pool, trampoline, exercycle, board games, tennis court). We spent three nights there in January after our son's cricket camp and would love to return one day. Thank you for helping our family to create some lovely Hawkes Bay memories.

The house setting is absolutely spectacular.

The house setting is absolutely spectacular. The view from every room and the expansive deck is amazing. The garden is neat and tidy and delight to look at or stroll through. The kids loved feeding the sheep next door. The house is spacious and well appointed. It really feels like home away from home. We had 6 adults and 2 teens stay in comfort and the house was big enough that we weren't crowding each other. Local attractions, beaches and wineries are a just short drive away.

Views in the Bay don't get much better than this. This house has one of the best views and the best outdoor areas to view it from. The house was great too. And it's only a short drive form Havelock North so it's really convenient too.
