Great Views
There were a few issues, but overall we enjoyed our stay. The views are beautiful, this is the second time we stayed in this same building. It's very easy for families since it has a private beach, pool, kids pool, parking, and restaurant on-site. We were worried about the lack of AC, but it ended up not being too bad with the fans at night.
Biggest issue was the cockroaches. We saw multiple each day/night. With how expensive the place was we expected a better experience. We didn't have this issue on past trips in the same building (different owners). We called and they had someone come spray which I think helped bc they were dead each morning. However, the woman we spoke to just offered to cancel our stay for the remaining nights, (which obviously wasn't an option for us); we didn't like that as s solution for customer service. And she said "well its the tropics" with little empathy for the situation. We barely slept the first night because they were on the wall next to the bedroom. We also noticed dirty underwear when we checked in, which also wasn't really a good impression.
Overall, it was good and we made it work though.
