Lacking in food storage bags or containers. Floor rugs and carpet dirty. Rugs disintegrated on back side, extremely dirty. Refrigerator made LOUD noise which accelerated during our stay. Bedding worn. Beautiful view from balcony!

Beautiful condo with great view

We have stayed in this condo a total of four times over the past five years, and thoroughly love this unit. It is very clean and up to date, is quiet, and offers wonderful views right next to the ocean. The sound of the waves is very peaceful.

A wonderful experience!

The property was in a great location and looked just like the listed photos, no surprises! It was beautiful and relaxing. The check out and and check in process was super easy. There were a few bumps with the payment process (on my end) and I also ended up needing to change my travel dates last minute. They worked with me through everything and even offered me a 50% refund for that night!

Beautiful unit overlooking beach

Very nice, quiet unit right next to the beach in a beautifully landscaped private resort. Wake up in the morning and look out on the beautiful ocean, see turtles on the rocks below the lanai.

Beautiful view from the condo, shabby, dingy and very uncomfortable inside.

Beautiful view from the Condo outside, lots of Turtles. Shabby, dingy and dirty inside. The furniture was so dirty that we would only sit on beach towels. The couch was so worn that we tried sitting on it with boogie boards under the cushions to stabilize our sitting. The kitchen was good, enough cooking supplies. The property does have BBQ’s ; unfortunately there are only 2, the wait time to use one was long. It’s a very quiet resort, too quiet Had a horrible experience with a tenant/ property employee that lives in one of the 6 units in the building, it dampened our whole trip. Would not recommend this unit in its current condition.

Amazing views

The property is so beautiful. Our unit had the best views. Right on the ocean. We saw whales and green sea turtles! We are definitely coming back!!!!

Very enjoyable stay

From the pictures we had thought we would be in the 2nd row of the buidlings, but it was water front at its best. Very clean, very functional. Even though it was November, the AC was much appreciated for sleeping. At least at this point there was no more beach access, but property management was referring to the magic beach. Comes and goes.

A Little Piece of Paradisr

Turtles galore!

We stayed at the Kuleana for 4 nights in July. There were 10 adults. One family stayed in a 2 bedroom unit, and we used it as our gathering place for breakfasts and dinners. The rest of us stayed in 3 separate units. All are individually owned, so they are a little different in terms of what they have inside in terms of extra amenities (like snorkels, beach chairs, towels, etc). All were nicely updated and super convenient to the small beach out front where we could watch amazing sunsets and/or swim with the turtles every day! The beach front bbq’s are super convenient and well maintained-many people use them but we never had to wait very long. This is a great place for people with young families. It is super convenient to the grocery stores and very secure-so you don’t have to worry about safety. But it is also very, very quiet-they don’t allow any noise whatsoever-regardless of time of day. No music in common areas. No playing cards or games outside on the grass or on your lanai, especially after 10pm. So if you want to socialize and visit with your family and friends, be prepared to do it early and inside your individual units.

A Great Stay

Loved the location and the unit. Would recommend curtains or blinds at slider location to decrease need for AC. We know AC is pricey and chose not to use it.

Beautiful view to the ocean

The location is perfect for touring west Maui. The resort is older, but very well maintained. Beautiful trees and flowers everywhere. The unit was very comfortable but the unit was very warm in the afternoons. Had to buy a floor fan to push the A/C up the hallway from the bedroom to the living room. The unit could stand to be upgraded a little, but we still enjoyed out stay and would rent the unit again.

Everything we we hoped for and more

This listing and pictures were very accurate. What we didn’t expect was the amount of sea turtles we would see from our lanai! At times we were able to spot up to 7! One evening we even spotted a couple rays! Grab your snorkel gear and go swim work the turtles! It’s incredible! The grounds to the Kuleana are beautiful and everyone was so friendly. We would 100% stay here again if we get the chance to return.

Meraviglioso!

Il resort è davvero molto bello forse uno tra i più belli e meglio posizionato. Ci sono poche unità e la nostra era dotata di tutto. L' appartamento affaccia sul mare...anzi è ad un metro dall oceano! Non saprei descrivere la vista così suggestiva! Spiaggia privata e giardino curatissimo ...Maui indimenticabile!
