We had a disappointing experience. Our family hadn't taken a vacation in nearly 3 years because of Covid, and we brought along our small baby, very excited to use the pool since she had never been in one! The pool was closed during our entire stay. My baby couldn't go in the ocean since she is too small. It was sweltering hot and our only real option was to stay indoors in the apartment or go out to eat. It is expected that the host would have informed us since management had informed residents about the pool closure (I called management upon returning home to check that they had sent out notices, and they had). While the host reached out at the start of our trip to see how everything was going, at the time we didn't know the pool was closed, and following that, when we did find out, we didn't want to bother the host since management kept telling us the pool would open the next day. It never opened — and when I requested a partial refund since our trip was a disappointment, the host was not at all understanding. Our family is so sad that our trip was affected by this pool closure (if you noticed the pool is the first thing advertised in the listing!) and wish our host had been more understanding, not to mention had informed us of the pool closure since they must have known! I would not book with this host in the future, buyer beware.
