"This is a 3 Star resort charging 4-5 Star prices, including a $40 resort fee per person, which is pretty high for a place under construction, without good walking paths, and charging very high prices for all food and drinks. Our floors had been swept, but not mopped - my feet got filthy walking barefoot in our room and I had to wash them just to get into bed. The beach is very nice, the pools are very nice, the staff is very nice, but overall, we had a mediocre experience and would not recommend this to our friends."

"We normally rent on Sanibel so this was the first time for us staying on Captiva. The house was perfect for our family (3 couples and a baby). The location to the beach is ideal and the property offers everything you need for a week in the sand. Larry was easy to work with which always makes a VRBO a great experience."

"We booked this condo the day before check in as a quick get away to heal from a bad situation and had to cancel hours after making the booking due to flight delays and no further flights available before the booking began. Ryan was amazing and helped us out with the cancelation, responding nearly immediately. I really appreciate his help as it was already a super stressful situation. Will definitely try this beautiful place again when it is not last minute during a government shut down."

"I will never stay at Jenens on the beach again. The room sucked. Too small and outdated. This room was over priced for the amenities. We left after the first night because the bed was too old and soft. The bottom room must have been a 130 square feet total. VRBO didn’t even have this room registered in outlet name so I don’t know what’s going on with VBRO. We couldn’t even make a complaint to the owner of this room. The whole stay was a fiasco. The pictures on this listing are very misleading. We had to get another room in sanibel. Oh, there were hardly any shells on the beach. "
