Swim in Lake Hjälmaren or hike on quiet paths through the typical Sörmland forest landscape. Visit the nearby agricultural museum in Julita, take a family trip to Parken Zoo in Eskilstuna or Kolmården zoo, both of which are easily accessible by car. The Swedish capital Stockholm is also well worth a day trip.
