Hooiberghut Altena is a cosy and charming trekkers' hut on the farmstead. This atmospheric hut breathes authentic farm life and is the perfect place for those who love simplicity, nature and the outdoors. With two bunk beds, Altena accommodates a maximum of four people and forms an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and those seeking peace who want to explore the Frisian landscape.



Inside you will find a warmly furnished space with a compact kitchen, refrigerator, hob and a dining table to enjoy breakfast or a simple meal together. Thanks to the covered veranda, you can also sit outside comfortably in bad weather and enjoy views over the grounds. The hut is simple but complete, and you make use of all the camping facilities, such as showers, washing-up facilities and a washing machine.
