"A great view. This is not a modern fancy facility. Its clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good. Could adjust room temperature to how we wanted it. A great start and finish place for our one day trip around the north Cape. The lady on the desk was friendly and very helpful telling us where to eat. Charlenes chowder was as good as we were told. And parked right outside our room. If ever we are this way again we would stay again. Our daughter and family stayed here this past summer and recommended it. Everything we needed. And loved the dogs!!!"

"The stay was pleasant and the room met our needs. We did not have any body wash in the shower. I phoned to request some along with extra towels as we were staying 3 nights. By the time we left we still had not received the body wash or towels. We also had a terrible experience in the restaurant where we sat and waited for over 25 min and did not get any service. We were given menus and requested water. The service staff continued to walk past our table without taking our order or bringing any water. Needless to say, we left and went elsewhere."

"I loved the place. It was very nice and cozy. Would have been nice if we could have used the wood stove. The weather was cold and the place didn't heat up as good as I would have liked. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. It would be nice if there was a hot tub on the deck... just an idea. Host was good though and accommodated all our needs. Thought che k in and check out times good be adjusted and he was very accommodating letting us come a little earlier and leave a bit later. I found the time was a bit late for check in so we arrive an hour early and left an hour or so late. Host was very agreeable. Comfortable beds! Would enjoy the area better if the weather had been warmer."

"Very clean, had everything one would need. I'm more of a minimalist but that's an individuals taste. It was quiet which I was looking for. Wifi/phone is spotty, had to go outside to get a signal..not a big deal. love the walk to the water, the beach was lovely. Overall, I would definitely rent there again."
