"Hotel was very clean and well kept. The staff were very well informed and polite. Only negative is the price and availability of some of the on site amenities. Overall a very good stay."

"A good stay with a very comfortable bed and nicely decorated room in general. A bit pricy for what you get though. The view from 4th floor over a parking and a construction site was not exactly thrilling but it was a standard room. Breakfast was quite diverse but during the last hour the food was not refilled or even kept warm, and the cleaning was terrible with pieces of ham and cheese on the floors and mountains of dishes on most tables, so it was very difficult to find a place to sit. Gym is well equipped with new machines and lots of weights. The spa was small but nice. The staff was friendly but not going the extra mile. Will probably not stay there again."

"This is one of the oldest hotels in Gothenburg, but it is very well-maintained and clean. To me, it is a boutique hotel. The staff is friendly and professional and takes pride in going the extra mile for guests. My wife and I were originally intending to stay only one night. But we enjoyed our experience at the hotel so much, we extended our stay for three more nights and would have gladly stayed longer except we had to catch a flight to return home. My wife and I speak English. The staff was very fluent in English. The breakfast is complimentary, and we enjoyed our breakfasts very much. There was a lot of choice, and the breakfast seating was peaceful. Our room was very clean and the fixtures in the bathroom were new in appearance. The rooms have a heater/air conditioner that works exceptionally well. And in the bathroom there is a heated towel rack. Just off from the front desk there is a tea/coffee/hot chocolate counter that also includes little cakes. The drinks and cakes are free. The hotel is a short walk from the central train station. It is easy to catch a tram or a bus to go anywhere in the city or to the airport. In fact, you can check your luggage for your flight at the train station so you don’t have to lug suitcases on the train (called the Arlanda Express). The hotel is also an easy walk from Stockholm Old Town, a must-see part of Stockholm. There is so much good to say about this hotel and not enough space to do it justice."

"Stayed 3 nights as a solo traveller. The location is fantastic, next to central train and bus station. Room was fine with a comfortable bed and kettle. Great shower. Room slightly chilly and I couldn't get radiator to heat up. The breakfast was included and quality and choice of food really good Also next to an impressive shopping centre. I had an early flight and staff kindly provided a breakfast selection in reception at 5am, which was super. I had paid extra when booking, to have use of the spa facilities, which are open till 9pm. Large spa bath, sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool, foot baths and loungers, plus refreshments counter. Only criticism, wet floor extremely slippery. I nearly fell and saw younger guests slip too! I was handed a robe and a couple of toiletries at check in, but didn't need them and at checkout was asked to pay for those items (unexpected!) Overall I highly rate this hotel"
