It's almost 2 miles away to John's Pass. We took an Uber ride there and back. It is walkable though.

We visited this place at night, it was very lively with music, some bars open, we traveled with our children and it was more of a adult atmosphere. They had nice souvenir shops and icecream. It is a nice place to go for a walk.
