Terrible Service, Waiting on refund

Terrible service from staff, and place was not clean, there was a bathroom leak and alcohol bottle top when we checked-in our room. I didn't even spend 15mins inside the "Hotel" and immediately requested to check-out. Still waiting on refund since Friday 06/10/2023 and the staff has been giving me a run around for my refund.

No tea or coffee in the rooms... What's use of the kettle and the cups... No soap or shampoo and I was very disappointed... Bed lights not working... Why are you guys in business if you offer such poor service for guests..... The stuff was friendly at reception and that's all.... The rest was a disappointment....

Disappointed Guest...

The hotel management allowed guests to party till late and the front office staff said they failed to control. I was busy during the day and at night I expected to rest but then all the noise came at night till late... Very unprofessional and I don't recommend it to anyone. The staff also stole a bottle of my Vaseline and I reported it to the hotel staff and they did nothing. Meaning security is a huge problem at this facility.

The room carpet is old and dirty, my bath towell was stained brown in several places and had to get it replaced. The room service evening meal was not good, the steak was tough and was not cooked to my specification. staff were not as professional as other hotels. Overall experince and value was really not worth the R1000 per night that I paid to stay there and will not use this hotel again. there are many other better choices on AirBNB.

In Midrand

The place is run down. The staff that I encountered was non-caring and not accommodating. When I got there, the restaurant was closing earlier then advertised, and when I asked if I could order something, I was told flatly no. Then in the morning, the staffed walked straight in my room without knocking or announcing themselves, and just laughed at me when they saw me in bed, and didn't apologize. This was 8am. Then, they tried to do it again the next even earlier, but luckily I had doubled locked the door. They took the dirty towels out of the room and didn't replace them, leaving me with NO towels, bath mat, nothing. We I went to reception and asked for a set of towels, I was told house keeping was closed until the next morning and there was nothing he could do. I had the bright idea of taking them from a vacant room, to which he begrudgingly agreed. Very non-welcoming and rundown

Nice staff and a decent area close to main areas in town. Rooms in good condition and good standard. Very happy and would go again. Restaurant was ok but missing alot of the ingredients to make most dishes on the menu.
