"Das Hotel ist leider nicht sehr sauber.Es wirkt schon fast etwas unheimlich. Das Zimmer selber war im ordentlichen Zustand. Leider gab es nur kaltes Wasser zum Duschen. Mit dem Personal hatten wir persönlich gar keinen Kontakt nur über den Email Account. Tut mir sehr leid sagen zu müssen, dass wir uns nicht wohl gefühlt haben. Wir haben die Unterkunft deshalb vorzeitig verlassen und sind nach Hause gefahren."

"Charming, family run hotel in a quiet section of Plauen, close to the city center. Breakfast included and really good. Staff helpful. Owner kind enough to sell me a beer even though restaurant had closed. She found me a charger for my IPad, Room was small but comfortable, clean and priced well. Book early, this hotel is popular and fills up fast."

"Das Frühstück ist mehr als einfach und dafür mit 14,90 € als sehr hochpreisig einzustufen. Bei der Dame vom Frühstücksservice hatte man das Gefühl Störfaktor zu sein. Fragen beantwortete sie eher schnippisch."

"Lovely quiet, rural area. Fabulous forestry, rocky outcrops, scenery so green. Great for walking, cycling, exploring this part of northern Bavaria. Even though rural roads, superb, easy from A to B. Staff lovely in the hotel. Spoke good English for restricted German speakers. Comfort Room spacious and clean. Little terrace with outside seating. Great views. No sound issues from rooms next door or above (we were ground floor). Great shower! But no tea/coffee facilities in room. The usual...

"Great countryside overnight stay at the Bulow family! Easy parking just outside and very clean and comfy beds. Would def stay there again when travelling across Germany."
