I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Papa Whale. Having a variety of coffee down stairs is a life saver. Moreover, daily Taiwanese tea eggs is a treat. The staff is nice, the room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The AC is powerful to fight against the hot summer weather. I highly recommend getting Taiwanese Mon Tou bread from across the street. Thank you, Papa Whale staff.

Clean room and heat shower pressure, but the room was very small and the walls are not sound proofed at all. The included buffet breakfast is 2 blocks away at the sister hotel and it was loud and crowded. The coffee maker in the lobby was only available for use after 7 am.
