"Cliff notes: Decent place, spacious room and comfortable bed, but elevator wait times are extreme. GIVE YOURSELF 5–15 EXTRA MINS FOR THE ELEVATOR, especially around check-in and checkout. I would stay again for the price. Details: I would stay here again because the price was good, the room was spacious and appeared clean. The photos are a little misleading when it comes to the view, as I couldn’t find anything resembling the view pictured while I was there. Some of the staff were extremely warm and friendly and some not so much. The room didn’t have a mini refrigerator, which isn’t a big deal and is somewhat common in NYC, but the ice machines on most floors didn’t work and there was no plastic bag in the ice bucket. One important note: It could take 10–15 minutes to get an elevator around check-in and checkout times. There is something really weird about the elevators. Multiple times I was waiting with 10+ people for an elevator going down, only for one to arrive and then go up. One time about eight of us got on anyway and ended up joking about it together. I wasn’t in a rush, so it wasn’t a huge issue for me and I’d deal with it again to save some money. But if you’re claustrophobic or need to be somewhere at a specific time, just be warned."

"Absolutely LOVED my stay at Row! I have zero complaints! For starters, when I arrived the check in line was extremely long (literally the only negative thing I can think of about my stay). The staff were coming along the line handing out bottles of water and mocktails! Made the line fly by! Next, the room was so spacious, clean, and comfy! The bed and pillows were SO comfy! I slept like a baby each night. Location is key! Literally steps away from Times Square! You can walk anywhere you need from here! And then there’s the manager, Joe! He was so friendly and welcoming! Always has a smile on his face and there to help anyone. Also - AMAZING drinks at the bar, and a good breakfast! This was my third time here and I will definitely be back!!"

"Misled about the outdoor bar. It was very small and I spent a lot of money on a nice outfit to wear because their website said we needed to dress nice but we could have worn regular clothes. So just disappointed and mislead about the outdoor bar, other than that we loved the hotel and staff"

"Beautiful Hotel. I really enjoyed my stay and the location is everything and it had everything surrounding it just a short walk. Affordable food and drinks right in the hotel and the roof top patio is not large if you assume that but great for getting fresh air if you don’t want to go out the hotel and the indoor space adjacent to the outdoor area is large with bar and events. And the views! We’re viewing! (For the smokers) Just outside the hotel across the street is a seating area you can chill and have coffee. 9/11 memorial, museums, street art, 24 hour deli, boutique restaurants, shopping, stone street, the south street seaport and more all walking distance. Subway Hub right down the block to catch all trains even to Jersey. Water ferries also close by. Only thing that was a con in my opinion is that there are only two elevators and like 20 something floors I don’t remember so there’s a little wait especially around check out n check in times you might have to wait for another one to come they are not large either. I will definitely stay again and I’m a real New Yorker just moved to Florida 2 years ago so I’m keeping it 100! Ya heard!"
